This was the 4th book in the series, but the first I read. This was okay. A famous author comes to the town of Normal and stays at the campground Mae owns. And a murder happens, so she has to solve it, even though she‘s dating the detective. I feel like she caused more trouble trying to solve the crime…

Not starting off well for books this holiday season. I got a 1/3 of the way through and had to bail cause everyone was annoying me. It might just be my mood though as I've been struggling with my depression lately. Instead of regular depression, it's now festive ✨seasonal depression✨😂 Least I found 65 words for the word search!

🎄📚🤓 A cozy read that I was easily able to follow along with! The narrator did a great job with the different voices for each character. I may take a look at the others in this series as they‘re free on audible atm. 3.5 hrs of reading time.

I had fun, caught up with the Laundry Club. Loved the introduction of Mae‘s foster mother who she was initially reluctant to welcome back into her life - but soon warms too. This series is as much about the everyday lives of the citizens of Normal as it is whatever murder Mae comes across. Mae‘s first date with Hank was a beautiful cheese fest. Looking forward to the next one!

Totally told myself it was ok to read a Christmas book in July 😝🎄

A little hard to pay attention to.

Couldn‘t get through this one. The main character was immature and so rude to a person she had just met. I was a third of the way into the book and no crime had even happened yet. Had to put it down. #winterreadathon @Andrew65 @DieAReader @GHABI4ROSES

These so far is my least favorite of the series. I had the mystery figured out very early into the book. I also didn't think there was much else going on that was very interesting. I've enjoyed some of the other books of the series, but this one wasn't as good as those. I like the cover though, it looks so Christmassy.

This was an impulse borrow from the library. ✅Christmas ✅cozy mystery ✅campers ✅Kentucky - A woman owns a campground and rents out the campers. She‘s part of a book club with various characters and the small town is quaint. The MC sticks her nose into police investigations to solve murders. The mystery wasn‘t much of a surprise, but there was a small twist at the end. The narrator wasn‘t that good, IMO.

I spent the first hour wishing someone would hurry up and get murdered. Lol. On no planet would a cop let his girlfriend take home a murder suspect because they're friends or let his girlfriend constantly interfere in his investigation.
