1. I like when it‘s raining outside because I can either read inside and listen to the rain coming down outside or I can read outside under the covered patio while it‘s raining. I actually read outside under my covered patio when it was raining outside recently and I really liked that because it was quiet.

1. My mom because of how strong she is and my grandma. My grandma influenced my Christian faith because I grew up seeing her watch Christian television, listen to Southern Gospel music and go to church every Sunday. Her faith was important to her just like mine is important to me.

2. My family and the online book community. I like getting online and talking about books with everyone and seeing what everyone is reading.

1. Quiet, shy, weird (In school, I was in Choir but I always hung out by myself and even when I used to go to a day program for adults with Special Needs, I hung out by myself and no one ever bothered me. Maybe people would like me if I talked more but that‘s not me.)

6. I don‘t like asking or answering questions. If I have to fill out paperwork that‘s asking me questions, it makes me a nervous wreck. One time when I had to go to the disability benefits office and answer some questions, I was a nervous wreck and I had to take an IQ test too. As an Autistic person, I need extra time to answer questions and I also don‘t know what questions to ask but I like answering fun questions on here.

I live in a beach town, and now that school is starting the majority of the summer crowds have gone home.

The upside of this is that traffic has improved greatly, and the restaurants don‘t have long lines.

The BIG downside of this is that I really miss seeing all of the happy families playing on the beach, riding bicycles, splashing in the pool, watching the dolphins, and just having good old-fashioned family summer fun.

Recently, I decided to try out automatic writing using a guided meditation video on YouTube because I like writing and this is what happened. I had a wonderful experience with this but I felt really tired afterwards. My writing hand was tingling and I didn‘t even feel like I was writing this. I‘ve been thinking about this and trying to process it since it happened at 2 AM on Monday night but I want to do it again.

1. I read everyday. I listen to audiobooks more than any other format. I usually listen for 2 hours or less if I don‘t have a lot of time.
2. The second Chicken Soup For The Soul book. I liked some of the stories but not every story.
3. The Outsiders. I first read it in 2018 and I‘ve heard that it‘s a classic. It was published in 1967. It‘s a story about a group of friends and I really liked it. I haven‘t seen the movie.

I live in a 3 bedroom house. In one bedroom, there‘s 2 bookshelves in there and on one shelf, I have the books double stacked. In my bedroom, I have books stacked on the floor by my TV and then I have another bookshelf in there with a shelf just for ARCs, one just for nonfiction and the other shelves just have random books on them that don‘t belong anywhere so I just put them together. Maybe I need a Miscellaneous section.

I tried Diamond Art and I'm loving it! It's a perfect relaxing activity for #AudioCrafting. So far, I've made 3 coasters out of a set of 8.

I‘m tracking Hurricane Beryl in the Gulf Of Mexico because I live in Houston, TX. I‘m worried about it. I said to my mom yesterday,”Wouldn‘t it be something if a hurricane came in on my birthday?” And my mom said,”Well, your grandpa used to call you Hurricane Kelli.” I was Hurricane Kelli because I used to get out all the pots and pans in the kitchen when I was a little girl and it made a lot of noise.

1. No. Since I was a child, I was nicked name Mother Superior, because I was so serious.
2. I am stronger than I look. My kids see that, too. That I can have fun and be funny. My husband sees that, lol. I am a protector when it comes to family. I turn into a mother bear.

I haven‘t walked the dog this week yet. It‘s too hot to walk in the afternoon now. I‘m irritated about it because I liked going in the afternoon so I decided that I‘m going to start going at 7 PM because it‘ll still be light out and it won‘t be so hot but for the past 2 days, it‘s been raining at 7 PM. I don‘t walk on Sat and Sun so it‘s not a big deal if I don‘t go. Maybe it‘s better if I go at 6 PM.

1. I went to the doctor for a physical this afternoon and I had bloodwork done.

2. My doctor is moving out of state. I‘ll have to find another doctor next time I go. I‘ll have to fill out more paperwork. I don‘t like paperwork.

3. My doctor gave me a 1 yr supply of my prescription and I picked up the prescription that the pharmacy already filled for me. The pharmacy texts me pickup reminders a lot until I pick it up.

I saw this recently about what Autism looks like in females. I‘m Autistic and I have a lot of these traits. I feel like I‘m awkward around people because I have a hard time keeping conversations going. I used to be in a book club with other ladies before Covid. I had a good experience. I didn‘t say a lot when the books were being discussed but I liked eating the food and drinking the wine. The food and wine was the best part.

I downloaded a songwriting app last night on my iPad and wrote this. I added a few more verses to it this afternoon. I just got on the Garage Band app this afternoon and decided to start singing it while playing the piano. I don‘t know if it‘s really a song because it‘s not structured like a normal song and I don‘t have a song title yet. This was fun. I want to write again but I want to write about something else.

I did this writing exercise in a journal I have with writing exercises in it. I did this in the middle of the night and I enjoyed this exercise. I decided to try songwriting for the first time but I‘ve stopped and just decided to do writing exercises for a while. I‘m in a Facebook group and someone who is a songwriter recommended to me that I try free verse poetry in order to write my first song.
