pick(2014) Seventh in the "Kate Daniels" urban fantasy series. This one brings together multiple threads and characters from the beginning of the series. I was a little impatient with the last one, but this one delivers the action, characters, and humor I like about the series.
pickThis installment was just EPIC - so much action, so much heart.
Book 7 & Kate can no longer hide from her heritage.
A satisfying culmination of the developments this far with plenty of hope &problems left for the future.

I know it looks like a guilty pleasure but it‘s so not!! I LOVE this series! If you like fantasy books with only a tiny bit of romance, a kick-ass heroine, vampires, witches, and wereanimals other than werewolves with a story that makes sense, this series is for you!!
pickThis is a cute little novella included in Magic Breaks book. It's about the adopted daughter of Kate. It's a little glimpse of her Magic powers.
pickI really like this series, I like the world the author created. The main characters are strong, faithful and loyal. Kate is getting stronger by the minute but only with Curran by her side. Also a great love story.
I don't remember this one very well, to be honest! So this will be a fun reread.
My wife keeps making 'choo-choo' noises to indicate that they're speeding through the series toward me, and they're not wrong. They're on the previous book now, having started when I was on the 5th book. Oops.

pickWow, an awful lot happens in this book! It‘s really a turning point in the series, and now we‘re heading into the home stretch. Two more rereads and then the last book.
Twelfth finish for #SummersEndReadathon. I stopped tracking time once I passed 30 hours, and because I was picking up odd moments while waiting in the chiropractor‘s office this morning.
Calling it a night. I‘ve met my time goal, but didn‘t quite finish this book. About 30 pages remaining for tomorrow, which should be pretty easy.

Started day 7 of #SummersEndReadathon with some Kate Daniels. I‘d love to finish this one today. (Laps are off by one day as I stuttered on the button early one morning)

pickA showdown between Kate and one of her greatest enemies leads her to finally meet her father face to face. It was nice to see more of some minor characters although my favorite character did not make an appearance. Can't wait to get to the next book!

pick#7 in the Kate Daniels series is a blinder! Kate and Curran are separated by circumstance for a chunk of the book and it's lovely to see the development of their relationship. More is revealed about Kate's family but I can't say much without massive spoilers! I continue to giggle at the reactions to Kate's gift from her grandmother. As with previous books, definitely read in order!
