A bitterly cold Xmas in Boston & a young nun is found bludgeoned to death in the Abbeys chapel, another nun barely hanging onto life. I loved this book but it‘s a little hard to categorise.It has similar underlying themes as her other books but the three MCs this time are all adults. It starts as the story of Travis,a man who has a talent for finding people & his search for Maggie then turns into the story of Theo,Calla & Bee who live in a community not unlike the movie The Village. #Booked2022 #AboutACultorReligion👇

This pretty little hardcover has been on my #MountTBRShelvesOfDoom since it was released in 2018🤭So glad I finally read it, it was a lot darker than I was expecting. A female line of witches on an island in the Salish Sea learn that the price of using dark magic is blood & pain.
