1) Pippin! It was a short trip from the couch over a small end table onto the top of a kennel for a patch of sun.

It‘s Friday again (or almost depending on where you live) & I still haven‘t gotten through last week‘s #5JoyFridays posts.🤦🏻‍♀️ Lots of sleeping, working tomorrow & then happily the weekend again.

Saturdays are my mostly solitude & regroup time. As I work from home I like to go out to a semi-quiet coffee shop.

Today I stopped by the craft market & found my favorite card vendor back-so I restocked. I‘m going to eat my breakfast, drink my coffee, read for various readathons & HauntedShelf, get some #LitsyLove responses & Halloween greetings out & get around to some #5JoyFridays posts.

1) I‘m still loving all things Olympics
2) I‘ve had a 5🌟 book drought but A Forty Year Kiss broke it
3) I have my sewing machine back from its annual checkup and am ready for the next step in my blue and white quilt. The joy is the pic showed that this batch of 18 blocks had a piece going the wrong way so it saved me from putting my seam ripper into play
4) Genius on Tuesday

1) Back to the north Oregon coast for the weekend and dad visit
2) Loving new NYT games, esp. Connections = brain health 🤞🏼
3) Lots of quilting hours and starting to put the blocks together
4) Dental cleaning - love my hygienist - always lots to talk about
5) Clean bill of health on my physical

I didn‘t take any pictures this week. During my visit with my dad we enjoyed the last of the season strawberries with carb smart ice cream and he is fantastic at bbqing salmon. We talked books and watched 3 movies: Boys in the Boat, American Fiction and Encanto. And yesterday I got all the necessaries done so the next 3 days are open with possibility.

My five:

1. My youngest son moved home from SF and got a job paying 6 figures!
2. The weather here has been wonderful and everything is green.
3. A week break from school so I am able to relax a bit.
4. Starting to run in the mornings again.
5. Savoring sunrises in the morning with coffee before work.
