saresmoore Phew! I‘ve found I can‘t keep books on my nightstand because I tend to flail about and knock them either onto the floor or my face in the middle of the night. So, just saying, glad you‘re at a safe distance. 5y

Many of the personal stories struck me—the woman giving birth in the sea especially. Was the captain to blame for the sinking? Were the British guilty of a conspiracy in order to force the US to enter the war?

One Enchanted Evening | Anton Du Beke

I picked up this one expecting a bit of fluff and sequins (Anton‘s one of the pro dancers on Strictly Come Dancing here in the UK), but according to the reviews there‘s actually more to it than that. Of course I haven‘t read it yet...

And #attheendoftheday today I‘m celebrating having hit the Submit button on my tax return for another year. I have eaten way too many biscuits today!

Scochrane26 I liked this book, but I read it at the wrong time in life. I was on a mission trip w/ middle schoolers in Arkansas—not a lot of food, a lot of downtime, & no showers for 2 days. I realized I should have brought a more action-packed book. 5y
