I‘m a little late with my Readathon wrap up. My goals were:

🕣 Read for 8 hours (1 hour per day) ❌ I only read for 5 hours and 34 minutes. It was a really busy week with work and family.
📚 Finish Suspicious Origin ✅
📚 Begin another book from my #bookspinbingo card. ✅

I really need work to slow down so I can get back my reading time…but I suppose the money for all of those extra hours is always nice! 🤷‍♀️ #brightside

One to Watch: A Novel | Kate Stayman-London

I haven't actually watched The Bachelor but this one sounded like a bit of fun. A plus sized lady challenging the lack of diversity in the casting of these shows ends up becoming the "main squeeze" herself ? Quirky and light, I enjoyed it. ???

Cathy_J Hi @CarolynM , I'm doing alright. I've been getting more reading done having to stay home all the time! Trying to stay positive. I am checking the figures daily, surely the second lockdown will start to drive them down soon. Strange times we're living in though. Hope you're doing okay too. xx 4y

mrp27 I lived in California all my life, all my family is here. When I married I moved to NYC. I loved it, made it my home had lots of friends, a whole new family through marriage and then got a divorce I didn't want and moved back to Cali and my family. 😕 7y

Dark Carnival | Ray Bradbury

Bummer news...this longtime bookstore in Berkeley, CA has announced its impending closure. I started going there in 1995 and bought my first Clive Barker book, Imajica. Since then, so many more. I go as often as I can since I moved out of the Bay Area. If you're around and can get in there, it's amazing. The whole store is 20% off and it's packed to the rafters.

ReadingEnvy Dang! When the sci fi fantasy bookstore in SF was going to have to close the customers saved it... But I guess that means there is another one not too far away. I hate seeing bookstores go. 7y

HardcoverHearts I just stopped by after work and man is it sad. It's going to take him a million years to sell off that stock. 😩We bought way more than we should just because I felt so bad for him. It clearly got out of control. 😢 7y
