Uhh. I don't know about this. I will never read Infinite Jest. Or House of Leaves. If there was a question about a mystery in an English village, I missed it. Or, more accurately, for me "a book by an author who wrote one book you loved and two you hated, but maybe this one will be good??" Plot isn't as important to me as mood. I love a book where nothing happens, but the narrator had a lot of Thoughts. Or an English mystery. Or a children's book.

Ruthiella I was purple too, and while I did read Infinite Jest, I wouldn‘t count it as a favorite. I looked at the books provided as samples for all the colors and found favorites in each. I think this is a good way to see what draws your interest , but it won‘t be a true reflection of what you actually read, because there are other influences that make us pick up one book over another. I'm going to have the same bookspin each month as I'm doing it by colours on the cover this year. I really enjoyed this in January and it will be neat to see how many of the colours I actually end up doing by end of year!

As a continuation of my last post, I thought I had finally pulled off my 30 book goal in the last two days only to find out that a book had been catalogued twice and alas I only reached 29. However, I will not be rushing to finish it this year as I feel that doing so would take away the fun and point of me setting these goals. I want to hit the goal because I was loving what I was reading, not to say I got to a certain number. So good job me (:

Man I had really fallen off the band wagon with posting on here…I‘ve made some significant progress with the Pantone Colour challenge! I read a wide variety of books (which is not very common for me) as well as rating some very high and very low. I started the year off strong, even thinking I may read more than my 30 book goal on Goodreads. However, the last half of the year I really slowed down and even got into a bit of a reading rut..
