This is a prime struggle that Tara has throughout this book. It is interesting to see how she chooses to grow, abs if she will choose to make herself happy, or to make everyone else happy out of obligation.

The last 2days I didn't have time for reading. But I'm listening Educated (only 4hours to finish) and really enjoy listening it. It is a great and powerful memoir. Saw so many great posts/reviews on Litsy that I wanted to try it.

Wow what a great memoir. Thought provoking, honest, raw, sad, heartwarming and inspiring. This book is soooo many things but boring is definitely not one of them. So glad I finally read it, it had been on my tbr for quite a while and now it will stay in my mind and with me forever. Watching a lecture by Tara Westover after reading her book, Educated for book club last month. Really neat to put a face to the memoir. #educated

This kept my attention the whole time. I saw similarities in the problems the author faced with those of the characters in The Great Alone, which was not intentional when I chose this as my next book.
