Pickpick

It took me a while to get through this book about the massacre of Nepal‘s Royal family in 2001, but I ended up liking it. I still have a lot of questions about what happened, but the authors did a good job of setting the scene as best they could. I read a lot of mountaineering books so it was good to get a different sense of the country‘s recent history. #FoodAndLit #Nepal

tpixie @DebinHawaii I just finished what may end up being one of my favorite reads for 2025- although it‘s a little early for that. Great writing, a strong, remarkable woman, & a wonderful marriage 1d

I‘m tagging my favorite book this month. It‘s one of the two chunksters (500 & 600+ pages) I read this month. I read 3 books by Roxane Gay for #authoramonth, 4 for #Nepal #foodandlit, and 1 for #whattheDickens.

Catsandbooks 👏🏼💖 1d
