I apologize for being AWOL the last few weeks in general, especially for the #GOTbuddylongread - after finding out I was pregnant I was very sick for awhile. Finally feeling better but I have zero energy and I've gone from reading 7-10 books a week to only reading 1 book in the past month. Hoping to get back into the swing of things soon. I just haven't been myself lately. Oh, also have a hurricane headed this way soon. 😑 Happy reading everyone!

Yeah_I_Read I could barely read when I was pregnant with my last one. Sorry you're not feeling well. Hopefully it doesn't last too long. Idk if you have kids already but it isn't too bad in the second trimester 😊 7y

JenlovesJT47 @Yeah_I_Read thanks! This is my first baby so I didn't know what to expect. I already have a lot of health problems so that made things more difficult at first, but thankfully my morning sickness only lasted for about a week. I'm just having a problem focusing on reading right now, even though I have a huge list of books I want to read! 7y

Yeah_I_Read @JenlovesJT47 it's an evil trick, when I was pregnant the first time all I wanted to do was sleep and I would be having a conversation and couldn't keep a thought in my head. I was like what is happening to me 😫😫it's worth it tho 😍😊 7y

Meddling Kids | Edgar Cantero

I left this at home when I went to my sister's in Virginia! 🙀
Thankfully I had a backup #gotbuddylongread with me.
I'm home now and enjoying it with a couple scones I brought back from Lady Camellia's Pastry and Tea Room in Georgetown.
Accompanying the scones (with strawberry and cherry pie preserves) is my favorite Dragonfly Song Roobois tea. Ahhhh, lazy Sundays (or Mondays, as the case may be). I hope everyone is having a great Labor Day!

Librariana I had books spread out on the couch, the ottoman, and the table.I hear ya! My husband doesn't ask. He's come to know I'm usually reading multiple books at a time and am horrible about requesting too many things from the library 😊 7y

Yeah_I_Read @annkuch13 I was going to comment on the post but I know it wouldn't make any difference. I've had to unfollow several people too over the last 18 months or so. It's really more the ignorance that is offensive than the statements yk 😔🤷🏽‍♀️ 7y

JenlovesJT47 Aerys Targaryen (the mad king), raped Lyanna Stark and murdered her brother, and then attempted to murder their allies–the Starks, Baratheons, and Arryns rebelled and overthrew the king. Afterward, Robert was crowned king. How much of his actions now are still revenge orientated? Do you think he is justified in his hatred of the Targaryens? Do you feel his actions, past and present, are justified? 7y

cobwebmoth I personally think that Robert is a giant child who never grew up. He pouts and throws tantrums when he doesn't get what he wants. I have trouble understanding anyone who thinks that having children assassinated is an okay thing. 7y
