Hands down my #LeastFavorite. I just didn't think it was as descriptive and vivid as his later work. It's understandable that this is his first novel. #StephenKing17

It is really really hard to choose a #leastfavorite from King. So, the most recent one I read that I didn't care for was book 4 of The Dark Tower. I understand that Roland's background story is important for the remainder of the ka-tet's story. However, I don't really care, I still didn't like it. #stephenking17

TieDyeDude Agreed. Book four probably took me the longest to get through. Very slow, much better in graphic novel form. 8y
Josie @GoodForCirculation it went the same for me! Felt like a boring chore. 8y
TrishB Funny - book 4 is my absolute favourite in the series !! 8y
Sweettartlaura I think I'm with @TrishB here🙂. I love the way King writes about love, especially young love. I don't think it gets talked about enough. So to have a whole book devoted to Roland's tragic love story...😪😪😪 ... I loved it❤️ 8y
Josie @Sweettartlaura I totally agree with you on how King writes love. I don't usually like romance, but King does it so tastefully. 8y

Cujo | Stephen King

It really was hard for me to pick a #leastfavorite King and not for the reason you might think. I went with Cujo because it was the first King novel that I didn't live. I've only read it once but this challenge makes me want to give it another go. On the flip side of that, I liked The Tommyknockers the first time I read it but could hardly finish last year when I read it again.#stephenking17

I have to say that for me this story is my #leastfavorite novel. #StephenKing2017

Nuwanda I just felt bad for Cujo. It wasn't his fault he got rabies! It was the irresponsible owners' fault! 8y
CherylDeFranceschi @Nuwanda I know. It's very sad. 8y
carys14 This is the one King book I cannot bring myself to read! 8y
mcipher This is definitely a hard book to read for animal lovers. It always makes me really sad. 8y

Judge away I am posting this with #noshame. IT is my #leastfavorite King novel. Yep you heard me right! I loved it in the beginning but the narrative between past and present didn't do it for me. And I can not forgive King for the end of the novel. The moment with all the boys and the one girl, I just couldn't. I could not! #stephenking17

ohyeahthatgirl Every time I've re-read it, I skip that part. It's one of my favorites, but WTF was he thinking?? 8y
CherylDeFranceschi Honestly. That ending was *shudders*, walks away shaking head. 8y
clconn17 I hated the ending also! I remember being so mad when I finished it. 8y

TheNextBook @ohyeahthatgirl I don't know if I can re-read it. I would get too upset knowing what's coming. 8y
TheNextBook @CherylDeFranceschi I know. I can't understand what that was or why... 8y
TheNextBook @clconn17 I was so befuddled! Like why?! Why in the world did he do that?! 8y
moranadatter What's your favorite? I've been meaning to try King again. I read him when I was too young. 8y
TheNextBook @kmdartist The Shining. Hands down. If you want a long one that isn't necessarily horror I would say The Stand is a great option, but so is 11/22/63 and Under the Dome. Another great horror is Pet Semetary. I would always recommend Carrie because Amaze. 8y
kylienoele That moment you're talking about, I feel the exact same way! It didn't feel relevant to the story, just something thrown in there for shock (which believe me, I was shocked). I also didn't care for the characters as adults, but the kids were awesome. 8y

#stephenking17 #leastfavorite I read this when it first was published, around 2006. I remember thinking that it might have worked better as a short story.

#leastfavorite #stephenking17 I really didn't like this one at all, and I'm not planning to finish the series.

Josie Totally understandable. It's so different from his other stuff, and I've met a lot of fans that didn't like it. 8y
