I've been having an urge recently to spend money because if I buy something that will solve all my problems!

I had to go to a different part of the county today and hit up two libraries. I did not think about it at all and was lugging these books around in 30° heat 🥵

Home now and sitting in a dark room

Watch me not read any of my #libraryhaul but it scratched my itch

Library haul. I want to read biographies for July so I put a few on hold because they had pretty long waits then 3 of them became available at the same time.

1. My sister and I had an interesting conversation with a ballpark acquaintance about various books and other things, in which he declared his love of Russian literature.
2. Amazing French Open men‘s final.
3. Thanks to prompting from @TheSpineView I went to the bookstore and preordered the upcoming Ann Cleeves book.
4. Dark Winds on Netflix.
5. Large #libraryhaul and a pedicure on the same day.

My kiddo wanted to go to the library to get a summer reading game board and I had a hold to pick up. Then he wanted to play on the library computers so I was left to wander… #libraryhaul

#LibraryHaul—my holds came in! including both #CampLitsy25 books for July 🤦🏻‍♀️ I‘m off to reorganize my reading schedule… 😆

Today‘s #libraryhaul—I returned one and picked up two so I‘m behind again 😂 I think I heard about Rosewater on a podcast and I don‘t remember what it was about but it sounded incredible. But Not Too Bold references a nice creepy fairy tale and the back said “dark fiction” and “Latin” and “sapphic” so there was no way I was leaving without it.

Will I actually read my #LibraryHaul or will I ignore it in favour of fanfiction ....
