Super happy with my NaNoWriMo progress. Words are really flowing this year and I hit 10k today (day 4). I like to get a good word count cushion early in case life goes sideways later in the month.

GingerAntics @TheBookStacker National Novel Writing Month (better known as NaNoWriMo) is November, and there is an official website where you declare your project and track your progress. An official win is 50K words (unless they‘ve allowed for different goals this year - they were talking about it), but you can write about anything and getting anything written in this middle of this madness seems like a win to me!!! 4y

TK-421 @TheBookStacker National Novel Writing Month (NaNoWriMo) takes place every November. It‘s a fun challenge where writers from all over the world attempt to write 50,000 words in 30 days. I‘ve been successful at reaching the 50k goal 4 times so far. 2020 will be my 6th attempt. There are also 2 #CampNanowrimo events every year in April & July where you can choose your own word count goal & type of project (like poetry, short stories, novel revision) 4y

GingerAntics @CocoReads I know there is an official Litsy slack that‘s we can make our own individual groups in. That‘s a messaging app for phones, tablets, and computers. I‘ve never heard of discord, but then I‘d never heard of slack until someone started group chat in there. 🤷🏼‍♀️ It seems most people don‘t know about Litsy on slack. (edited) 4y

CocoReads I had trouble working slack when I was on it. But I‘m not super techie and lack the time and patience for most of it. But I‘ll check into it. 4y

I haven‘t been on Litsy much due to having to a house full of family all weekend. With life returning to normal, I finally have the chance to post about my #CampNano win & to thank everyone who joined me in the #LitsyCampers cabin! I loved learning about your writing projects & getting to know you! I‘m planning on doing July‘s #CampNanowrimo too so I hope we can work together again 😊 #KeepWriting!

NeamhainHughes I didn‘t join Litsy until well into CampNaNo this year. I‘ll definitely be doing CampNaNo again in July, and I‘m excited to be doing it again but this time with Litsy at my side as well! 5y
