#lockdownlowdown
1. Just outside Boston MA
2. The tagged book, which I read for #lmpbc #round8
3. Long enough to be interesting and short enough to keep my attention. I have two small children stuck in lockdown with me — 350 pages or so.
4. Thank you @PaperbackPirate for tagging me! I hereby tag anyone who‘d still like to play.

veritysalter An excellent choice. Thank you for playing 📚♥️ 4y
Laughterhp Yay! Glad that was your favorite book you read! 4y
mrsmarch @Laughterhp I have read a lot of good books since mid-March, but so far this is the one I think I would recommend to the most people! It's accessible to read, and sits at the intersections of a lot of areas of interest. 4y
PaperbackPirate That book sounds good! 4y

1. Minnesota, USA
2. I haven‘t been recreational reading, but I did enjoy Darwin‘s Origins, Descent, and Frankenstein for a course.
3. It really varies, but often my favorites are short stories and novellas. It takes a lot of skill to be concise.
4. Tagging anyone who hasn‘t already been!

1. Atlanta, GA (“OTP” for you fellow Atlantans)
2. The Golden Age (tagged). Of course it‘s a Europa edition 😂 as I‘m trying to get through the backlog of Europas on my shelves.
3. 250-350 p. depending on genre. On the lower end for crime novels and true crime, but on the higher end for literary fiction.
4. @Tamra as we‘ve both been on a Litsy hiatus

@veritysalter #lockdownlowdown

Tamra 👋🏾👋🏾 Hi Cathy! What have you been up to? 4y
cathysaid @Tamra Staying home, working, and finally able to read/concentrate again! Saw someone post about Stoner earlier today and thought of you and then saw you had been off Litsy for a bit as well. Glad we‘re both back! 4y

Thanks for the tag, @sudi and @JaclynW ! 😃

1. Hyderabad, India
2. Becoming, Circe
3. There is something about a novel written in few pages, but then there are some where length is required to absorb it completely. 🤷‍♀️

@veritysalter #lockdownlowdown

@ju.ca.no Do you want to share? 🙂

veritysalter Thank you for playing 📚♥️ 4y

Tanisha_A @Reggie I have still got to read The Song of Achilles. Am i stalling it because i know it'll be good, and i can never read it for the first time again? 😁 4y
Reggie @Tanisha_A will it take the pressure off if I say Circe was better? 😊I loved SOA but I think her writing got much better in Circe. 4y
sudi Both great picks 😊 4y
Tanisha_A @sudi Good to know you enjoyed reading them too! 😃 4y
Tanisha_A @Reggie Ah! I think that does make sense, too. 😁 4y

2. The Prince of Mist & I finished The Shadow of the Wind in lockdown, both by Carlos Ruiz Zafon.

UwannaPublishme Yay NJ! 🙌🏻 Born and raised there, but now in California. 4y
Kelly_the_Bookish_Sidekick @UwannaPublishme Oh really?! What part of NJ are you from? I was in California only for a few days (Corona & SF) but it was nice. I just can't see myself leaving this state. 4y
UwannaPublishme Small town by East Brunswick called Spotswood. I‘m in Oceanside now. I love NJ, but prefer sun over snow. 😁 4y
