Beautifully written. The story was entrancing. Stayed up too late multiple nights reading and forcing myself to put it down and sleep.
I loved the story no matter how slightly unrealistic if felt at times. That‘s the point of fiction though isn‘t it.
I loved this book. The ending was great. I wish I had read it sooner.
Highly Recommend

And then I had to go to Target tonight for a couple things and we all know what happens there. Darn books jump off the shelves and into your cart.

It‘s got nature romance and murder. What‘s not to love. A popular read at our book club and we also loved the movie #alphabetgame.

Where the Crawdads Sing is an incredibly deep and moving novel that I have no doubt I will forever remember. It is a mind-blowingly poignant debut and easily one of the best books I have read so far in 2022. This is exactly the kind of novel that will be the first in my mind when I think of recommendations.

If your looking for a light romance and a heavy dose of life lessons then this may be the book. It was an okay summer read, I found it didn‘t measure up to her other books.

Have you ever read a book that you wish you could re-read again just to experience all the emotions and get lost in the writers descriptions all over again?

This is the book for me. Simply beautifully written, and was a pure joy to read. Do I see the film now? Verdict is still out on that one, but for now I wish to relish in the satisfaction of finishing a spectacular read!

lynneamch I understand completely. It's been several months since I read the book, but saw the movie today. I think they did a good job, considering movies rarely live up to a book. Worth seeing though, and fun to experience reactions from my friends who didn't know what was coming. 2mo

Wow, just wow is all I can say.

In 2 days I haven't been able to put this down but had to as solo parenting this weekend.

I loved this book as it has n number of biological wonders in it. Story is well crafted, Beautifully written. I like the setting more than story. Murder mystery is good. overall it is a good read because of the minute details about nature and poetic writing style. 4.5⭐️/5

I ended up really liking this book but the MC really did get on my nerves. I find that I get very angry at people who allow others to take advantage of them. ⭐️⭐️⭐️
