The language is excellent… and I want to go read an SA Cosby novel instead. Rural noir addressing many of the same issues… and road trips with heists or murders. Plot beyond growing up in this book? #notfeelingit #maybeitgetsbetter

My journey reading Shadow of the Wind is years long but finally finished on audio. Glad I didn‘t bail but probably won‘t read the others in the series. Dial A was okay, funny but there is a part of the story where I‘m not a fan. Still love the Veronica Speedwell series so it‘s the pick of the week. Hope to finish all 5 ongoing books this week.
This for me was way too long, far too much romanticising of the story and the man.
He's a killer not a lover I don't want to know that he cried at Christmas or how he f**ked! I wanted to know how he killed! God dammit...

I can‘t seem to get into City if Endless Night. So, since I have that for a while from the library, I‘m moving on.

I‘m on page 65 and I pretty much hate this book. Cedar Songmaker, and this book as a whole, feel so contrived. I just can‘t do it anymore. #botm, you‘ve really been letting me down recently. #botmchallenge 50/55
Having a hard time FINISHING up is more like it. Anyone else have a hard time getting into a book? Do you typically bail or do you try to push through? #startup #doreeshafrir #notfeelingit #whatisthisbookevenabout
