For what this is (an A2-B1 graded reader for Spanish language learners), I found it consistently at the advertised level and written well enough that I wanted to keep reading. It's a single story of a mysterious theft told through 101 short chapters consisting of a contextual blurb followed by a conversation. Available on #Hoopla. #Spanish #gradedreader #languagelearning

Sace Ooooo. I need to check that out. I teach Spanish 1 (A1-A2), but this would be good to have for the end of the year (and if I ever have Spanish 2). 2mo

A charming story with beautiful illustrations and good narration. I liked the authors' note about traditional Mesoamerican stories of the sun & the moon, rabbits & opossums, and ceiba trees & agave. #hoopla #espanol #spanish

Una historia preciosa con bonitas ilustraciones y buena narración. Me gustó la nota de los autores sobre los cuentos tradicionales mesoamericanos del sol y la luna, el conejo y el tlacuache, y la ceiba y el maguey.

Final book of the Mist trilogy. Just like the first two, this was also full of magic and evil and adventurous, brave youngsters. 💜

I liked this one a bit more than the first book. The ending was a bit too dramatic for me though.
The writing also felt more like the Cemetery of Forgotten Books in this one. 💕

I'm in love with this cover!
It's noticeable that it's an earlier work than the Cemetery of Forgotten Books, but it's still very Zafón. 💕 This was a book that I'll keep for my children to read.

I‘m counting all 6 of these kids books as my first read of the year!

I‘m pregnant with my first baby! And I want him to know Spanish. I‘m not completely fluent myself, but I bought these books ahead of time so I can practice my Spanish—so that I‘m reading these fluently to him.

Some are from an awesome little company called Lil‘ Libros that create & publish Spanish/English books!

Finally got back to reading this monster. I've decided against taking notes on words because I wasn't advancing at all. I understand a lot of the words but it's hard for me to pronounce many of them so I'm just annotating the book #spanish

Spanish books #1 and #2. I preferred the tagged book to Making out in Spanish because it was hilarious and included a lot more slang. Both titles are a bit misleading because they are mostly common phrases with just a few pages dedicated to dating/sex. I found helpful phrases and facts in both and will definitely refer back to them along my #Spanish journey moving forward. Estoy lista para mas!
