14/100 Once a year, Batman & Superman agree to meet on the anniversary of the death of a close friend. The story follows each as the two characters change, through various DC storylines like the Death of Robin (Jason Todd), the Death of Superman at Doomsday's hands, and the breaking of Batman by Bane. Well told and heart-felt, with great art by Dave Taylor & Robert Campanella. 4 ⭐⭐⭐⭐

Our lips fit together perfectly, again and again. Soft, sweet. Real.
Our first real kiss was better than fireworks and flying and front-page news all rolled into one.

He smiled at me. “Want to go help your friends rebuild?”
“Sure,” I said, and offered him my hand. He took it.
And we walked into the violently beautiful sunset together.

This was a great end to the series. I was so excited when Lois and Clark finally met. Lois Lane is one of my all time favorite fictional characters of all time. Such a great series. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

A much more effective commentary on the Cold War than Superman IV: The Quest for Peace, this follow-up to the Superman '78 comic again nails the tone of the Reeves movies in telling a story of hope and optimism. Another easy recommendation.

This was a lot of fun. An excellent story that could be set at any time in the original Reeves' series, utilizing the villain that the films were just itching to introduce, Brainiac. Fun art and pitch-perfect writing makes this an easy recommendation.

For the first time, Lois Lane has almost everything she wants. Non-temporary home? Check. Dream job? Double check. Incredible BFFs? The absolute best. And now, her online crush, SmallvilleGuy, is coming to Metropolis. If all goes well, they'll turn their long-distance friendship into a some-kind-of-fairy-tale romance. But when does all ever go well? Before she can check "boyfriend" off her list, Lois must take down a mad scientist.

Mehso-so

I respect Reeve for his courageous battle with his spinal cord injury and the work he did to raise awareness, esp. in fighting for insurance coverage. As someone who works in physical therapy, I also enjoyed the PT aspect of his memoir. But as a whole, I just felt this was a so-so book. Short, but it jumped around a lot and didn‘t feel very cohesive.
