It only took me 16 years to get around to reading this!
The premise is a bit silly, but as usual, King creates a compelling story with fully fleshed out characters.
Getting more snow and ice soon, so needing some isolation stories. This and, possibly, The Worst Journey in the World.
Very much a less plot all vibes creepy ghost story. I did overall like it though. 4⭐️
Really enjoyed this Scottish curse breaking romance. Will definitely read more by the author.
Book 8 of 2025
So good. I can‘t say more without spoilers but I don‘t think I‘ve ever listened to an audiobook that fast. I went on extra walks so I could get more listening time. I don‘t read a lot of suspense, but after this I probably will pick up more. I‘ll definitely queue up the series. A bit morbid at times and some body horror vibes, so be warned if you‘re squeamish.
This is our February selection for the Constant Reader book club. I‘ve watched the original 1983 movie adaptation multiple times and first read the book in 2015 as an audiobook. This time, I decided to read my physical copy. I thoroughly enjoyed reading it again and liked it better the second time.
