This was required reading for my son's English class, so I read it with him. I was disappointed it wasn't more to our liking. There were too many details that were supposed to be clever that had me rolling my eyes. The worst thing, for me, was the White Rabbit being reimagined as Bibwit Harte (which is a terrible and unnecessary anagram), who is a large-earred albino.

What a fantastic trilogy! I absolutely loved it and will definitely be waiting to read any more Alice retellings for a bit. If I read any others now, they wouldn't live up to this one ❤
