Bullet Journal: Soft Cover, 5.5 X 8.5 Inch, 130 Pages | Bullet Journal

Here's my #unreadshelfproject progress for January 2023. I started with 2,251 unread books and only bought 5 physical new books. However, while cleaning, I found a bag of books I hadn't counted. So I read 23 books, 11 of which were moved off Mt. TBR, and ended up with 2,252 unread at the end of the month. Oops. #readingmytbr #bujo #bulletjournal

I was gifted two copies of this book from BookCrossers and finally finished it 5,093 days after I started reading one copy! Glad to finally learn whodunit! Loved the Scotland flavor and even a reference to Kintail (where my username originated). #unreadshelfproject

Did you guys see #TheUnreadShelf monthly prompts for 2023? This year, instead of doing mini challenges, it‘s all about mood reads based on set feelings. Some are going to be harder than others, so I‘m interested to see how people interpret them. ENOUGH is going to be a fun one…. Maybe I‘ll plan to read a chunkster, so when I finish it I can say “Well, that‘s enough of that”. 😂

Librariana I did see that she had changed them for this coming year! 😊 I don't know that I'll necessarily participate in this format/manner, but I do so appreciate how her challenge has helped me decrease my number of unread books. Plus! I love seeing how each year I participate, the number in my little #unreadshelfproject tag increases! More books switching each year from unread to read 😁 1y

Librariana @Cinfhen - I've gone into it with some slight... trepidation? Hesitation? I always worry when a book has a lot of hype that I'll be the one weirdo that doesn't LOVE it and I really, really wanna like it! No pressure, right? 😄 3y

Cinfhen I don‘t know how much fantasy you read and I‘m not sure how to compare it to other fantasy books but I liked it. I‘m not sure it deserves ALL THE HYPE and I thought it was a little overwrought but still it was pleasant. I know what U mean about a book not living up to your own expectations. That definitely doesn‘t make you a weirdo xxxxx if it does, im one too 😉 3y

Well, there goes my #UnreadShelfProject numbers. I couldn‘t resist myself today. It was my first day at the thrift store since way before Covid, possibly even the first in the year. I *mayyyy* have gone a little overboard, but I honestly have no regrets. 🥳☺️

Clwojick @Caroline2 I‘m so glad to hear it! It‘s on my TBR for a little challenge I‘m doing, but I couldn‘t find the audiobook anywhere. I would normally never spend $6 on a used book, but I splurged on it. All the other books were $1-$3. 4y

Well, bad news is that my unread books increased by one, but good news is that they were all from a book swap... so at least they didn‘t cost me any money 😅

I‘ll try to do better for February. I have some chick lit audiobooks downloaded already, but after that I‘ll focus more on the #UnreadShelfProject 💕🙌🏻
