willaful Re the poison: I feel like Amelia missed the perfect retort to her mother. “Yes, you nursed five children and buried three, you're obviously no danger to a child!“ (Not that it was probably her fault at all, but still!) Also, the elixir seems to have been alcohol and a laxative, so I think Amelia had the right of it! 1y
