Finished these two yesterday and today. They are the last two books I need for the Color Our World Summer Reading Challenge hosted by our public library: pink and purple covers. I hadn‘t heard about The Stolen Life of Colette Marceau before my daughter, the librarian, brought it to me. It was excellent! Very twisty with a very satisfying ending. I‘m doing better with my reading - up to 24 books so far. All I can do for now. #BookspinBingo

This is a book recommendation for #HauntedShelf #SkeletonCrew I probably should have saved it to read in October, but I didn‘t know there would be werewolves involved! (Sorry, that might be a spoiler). Anyway, this is book #3 in the series, but it could be read as a standalone. These 3 authors are hilarious in their interpretations and even if you think you wouldn‘t like a western, you will like this one! 5 stars!

Well, I finished one book - the poetry book. In Her Feminine Sign by Dunya Mikhail. It made me wonder why I haven‘t read more poetry. I mean it was sad. It was written by an Iraqi woman about the lives of women around her. But it was beautiful, too. The way she put the words together. Anyway, I also read at least 33% of each of the other 3 books I‘m reading. A good weekend! Thanks @TheSpineView

It took me awhile to fit this in the frame, but here it is. I have managed to read 7 books on my Kindle so far - I figured out how to make Alexa read the books to me - not much emotion in the voice, but it worked for me. Then I looked at the books on Stuff Your Kindle Day for Romance and Cozy Mysteries and I got a few more - oh my! Only a few - probably 7. At least I‘m at zero again… I know…ugh!

The books are big, but they are page-turners. Great! Great! I finished the first book from my #ReadYourKindle list! I loved it! Anne feels like a friend because I belong to the Modern Mrs. Darcy book club. There were so many things I could relate to. One chapter talked about the book that made her a reader. Hers was Emily of New Moon, mine was The Little Princess. My sister (10 years my senior) bought it for me and I remember it being the first book I couldn‘t put down - even for dinner. #ReadYourKindle

Just finished listening to Circe by Madeline Miller. I really love books based on mythological characters and there were plenty in this books besides Circe. The narration was also very pleasing to hear.
