Great for getting my “mind right.” Even better for: getting my (digital) body back. #teosentenceNOhorrorstory

Her experiences as a Secret Service Agent during various administrations ( and 9/11) was interesting. The story is read by the author. I like how she starts each chapter with a quote from an ancient Greek. I‘m a sucker for quotes. Unfortunately, with an audiobook, you‘re rarely in a position to jot it down.

In case you were wondering about some of the books I‘ve been reading to get better at interview and interrogation. This book was all about the non verbals and is useful for anyone who wants to “read” others better.

Not bad! I read a bunch of these in class. The issue is sometimes people start a book and don‘t make it all the way through and still count that as reading it. 🤥.
Fifty shades I read parts of. Bleak House and David Copperfield I own and saw on masterpiece.

DGRachel I honestly don‘t understand claiming you‘ve read something that you haven‘t. Reading shouldn‘t be a competition. I certainly wouldn‘t say I‘ve read Lord of the Rings just because I‘ve attempted to read The Hobbit four times and never gotten past about page 150. 🤷🏻‍♀️ 4y
TrishB @DGRachel I don‘t understand it either! Though I have read LOTR 😁 4y
RowReads1 @DGRachel I remember an English class talking about this in high school 😂. There‘s just no evil intent. Memory also plays a part I‘m sure. As it does with everything. 4y

Crazeedi @DGRachel well maybe someone would not be truthful because they think if you havent read these somehow you cant claim to be a well read reader or something. Not me, dont care if there are classics I havent read... 4y
DGRachel @Crazeedi I hate the idea that anyone would be embarrassed or feel “not good enough” because they hadn‘t read certain books. That makes me sad. 😔 4y
Crazeedi @DGRachel I know it is sad 4y
