BookishFeminist @slhbooks I have bifocals and manage alright. There's hope! I use an Ott Lite and daylight light bulbs around the house and that helps. 😊 7y

The Couple Next Door | Shari Lapena

I wanted to keep watching Bates Motel tonight but had to substitute a thriller audiobook instead when someone **coughcough** had to go to bed. 👀 But it means I finished another cross-stitch! This is about as Christmas as I get. 🎄

I'm liking this book on audio rather than print. The repetitive writing is a bit insufferable but the plot is engaging so far. It's making for a great, lazy #audiobook listen. 🎧

BookishFeminist @Vinjii Thanks! I mean, I'm hopelessly addicted to the first season (I'm just at the finale) so I'm not sure. I love it but it's totally my thing but I'll let you know if it gets better. I spend a majority my time questioning the life decisions of the characters & heckling them so this likely adds to my enjoyment 😂 7y

I despise Christmas decorating or any seasonal decorating for that matter, but I host Christmas and my kids (and sister) would be super bummed if I didn't...so I'm hoping to get the outside done tomorrow on my day off since it's going to be on the warmer side. Hidden Figures: The Story of the African-American Women Who Helped Win the Space Race | Margot Lee Shetterly

Been working on this while listening to Hidden Figures on audio & finished tonight! (The project, not the audiobook.) I loved making this ode to #nastywomen while hearing the story about these amazing go-getter NASA women. 🙋🏾🚀

The #audiobook is fantastic so far! I love Robin Miles' narration & audio definitely makes it easier to understand the math and science portions of the book for this liberal arts person. 😆
