Late night finish of this audiobook. While I‘m still not a fan of Angie, this story was a good one overall. There‘s a big plot advancement in this one, so it shows good progression of the characters. I do wish I could visit Fairytale Cupcakes and sample the cupcakes!

My 3 year old is obsessed with this series, for the past couple of months we've been reading 3 books of the series for bedtime. It's about 2 robbers who turn into bakers, all the books rhyme and they are packed with humor and action. So of course we had to bake some cupcakes to be like them! We had so much fun being Shifty McGifty and Slippery Sam ❤️ (and eating them). If you have toddlers I recommend the series

This one was so much better than the last couple I read in the series! The mystery and the solution seemed a little flimsy to me, but Mel and Angie in Vegas was a fun location for them. And, I‘m now craving cupcakes! 😂

Happy happy birthday to my Mom, @Yenya1954 ! I‘m sure you‘ll spend some of it reading, and I hope it‘ll be a great book. Love you!

When I think of pastels I think of baking & especially cupcakes with #Pastel icing & sprinkles. Here‘s some related covers from my stacks. 🧁💛

Visiting with my kids in Halifax and had coffee at the most adorable new spot, Crème. The high tea menus were in the books- see The Scarlet Letter pic- and when you opened the book, a butterfly flew out. Such a pretty spot and the desserts were yummy!

I struggle with this series, and yet the cupcakes keep me coming back. This is book 7–some this far have been good, others not so much. This one I really did not like.
This one focuses more on the personal lives of Mel and Angie rather than the mystery. A woman who looks like Angie is killed at a zombie walk. It‘s pretty obvious Angie was the target (it‘s related to an ongoing situation from the prior 2 books…I‘m going to be as spoiler free ⬇️⬇️

It was nice to return to this series after a brief pause—I feel like I can only take Angie in small doses. The cupcake bakery heads to a rodeo to sell cupcakes, and one of the employees because prime suspect in a murder. Good cozy mystery, and especially fun to listen to while baking (cookies, not cupcakes, but it‘s still baking).
