This was the first book I read this year and I flew through it. It just captivated me and kept me wanting to continue. I hope the year finishes on the same sort of high note!

A NF about the catastrophic bushfires of the 2019/2020 summer season in Australia, it‘s a heartbreaking journey through the stories of the small towns & bush destroyed by flames & the millions of animals dead and people who lost everything to ash. It was the headline across the world till Covid arrived. I‘m not sure which I‘d prefer. #TeamSlaughter 6pts
