#foliobooks are known for their gorgeous #illustratededition . I haven't read this one yet, but I really love the idea of the Folio Society, that every book is made up with its own illustrations and not every book gets the same kind of illustrations. #litsyclassics @Bambolina_81

Eco's debut novel still resonates with me. Solving the mysterious deaths of monks, exploring labyrinthine libraries and facing off against the Spanish Inquisition , all great fodder for an excellent period murder mystery which explores deeper issues such as the power of silence as control, and laughter as subversion. Excellent.
