Glad I found these airport editions. Wanted to buy both, but didn't want to lugg the hardcover editions with me.

Not yet up there with the ‘other‘ series, but I did enjoy and will definitely give number 2 a go. As with all new series there were a few chapters that were continually introducing new characters and it lost the thread a bit for me.

There's a lot happening, but also not a lot happening until about 60% then the plot suddenly thickens.

I'll still read the next one in the series.

A Persephone book really fits my current #Gladstones24 setting. I thought I‘d love this one but was a bit underwhelmed. A man gives up his happy marriage of twenty years for a fling with a younger woman. His wife and their kids are furious - of course. So it‘s all a bit predictable. An okay-ish book for me, except for the ending. I kind of loved that. A light pick.
