There turn out to be a good number of books about marriages that seem loving and collaborative, but turn out to be bitter and full of lies. Out of this category, these books are my #mosthatedmostloved --which do you think is which? 🙃 #autumnreads

#autumnreads #mosthatedmostloved was hard, not the hate part b/c there are few books I hate more than 1984 (tho probably Ballard's Crash, I hated it to the point of getting rid of it) but love was hard because I'm terrible with favourites. I I thought of something I would re-read (rare for me) and something that I've loved almost every word of, the sonnets did it. I laughed, cried, felt hollowed and filled-these changed the way I saw the world.💜
I liked Into The Water much better than The Girl On The Train... Although I had to take notes to keep up with the characters!!! Lol
I wouldn't say I loved it though!!

Most hated- The Hobbit. (dis)Honorable mention for hated books would go to The Red Badge of Courage and Eat, Pray, Love
Most loved- A Tree Grows in Brooklyn. Honorable mention would go to The Tender Bar. I love books with a NYC setting.
Most hated: The Hobbit - I'm not into much fantasy, so I'm sorry, but I really disliked it
Most loved: Pride and Prejudice - very opposite spectrum (and I know a most hated by many of my friends...they don't understand my obsession with everything Austen)
I love how this book community recognizes everyone's interests and does not disparage over someone disliking a particular book or genre...thank you everyone! #mosthatedmostloved #autumnreads
