Wow. These are so good, and my nieces are about to have a wild adventure.

For any #riordan fans out there, these are similar, and explore the ideas and religious figures of Hindu. The main character is bright, sassy and imaginative in a way that I would have loved to see as a child. Shoot, I love to see it now.

Sometimes, things just work out: you cried all the tears in your body while watching Hotel Del Luna, and it just so happens that you have an anthology about star-crossed lovers just waiting to be picked up. It's like it was meant to be!

🌟3.5

I love a heist. Whether it‘s cinematic or literary—like Leah Bardugo‘s gorgeous Six of Crows—heist narratives (when done well) are compelling and fast moving and just plain fun. Roshani Chokshi‘s YA novel The Gilded Wolves, out Jan 15 and the first of a duology, falls solidly into the heist tradition. (Thanks to @netgalley for the ARC!) See my full review on Instagram (@ jen.loves.books).

Has anyone else read (and enjoyed!) Aru Shah and the End of Time? I was thrilled to pass it along to my eleven year old, an avid reader of all things Percy Jackson (and, consequently, all things mythological).
