Ugh I can‘t with this. I know these types aren‘t my thing but my (new to reading!! 🌟) IRL friends are trying out the #steamy books, so I‘m joining in. I‘m no prude, certainly 😬, but I just found this too problematic to enjoy fully. If anyone has recs for intelligent and well done of these types, I‘d be interested in hearing about them.

Philosophy, architectural descriptions, society-culture commentary, heroic character, mind-fuckery and aggressive sex. What more do you want in a book?

Finished this book on a Sunday which seems fitting since this was about a Vicars daughter 😏 I knew it was going to be a good one if the author has to warn her dad about this many chapters... Bring on the steamy love scenes! But seriously, it was a great, simple, Beauty and the Beastesq story that warms your heart. If you need a little bit of uncomplicated love in your life, read this! 🥰♥️ #romance #steamy

In the past, I have mostly read historical or paranormal romance. This had the typical elements that are part of those romances, but it‘s set in the world of motorcycle gangs so it felt new to me. There is quite a bit of violence, which I didn‘t expect for some reason. Once I settled in, I enjoyed Alexandra and Deacon‘s story. I will definitely read the next one. #steamy #romance
