Listening to this #audiobook on #scribd and it's #readbytheauthor, which makes it way better. I'm enjoying it a lot. She just talked about how 8 black women a week are murdered by black men they know in the US. And that over 1000 women of varying races per year are murdered by men they know. Talk about #toxicmasculinity. Powerful stuff

I'm so glad I read this. It taught me about some things that I knew in abstract way, and filled in some of those gaps. I might disagree with Mona on some things but overall this is fantastic and I need to get my own copy.
