CatLass007 This is the first time I‘ve read the book and I‘ve never seen more than a snippet of the movie, but I thought he was going to be some kind of tyrant. He hasn‘t come off that way in the chapters we‘ve covered so far. I don‘t think he‘s a clown either, even though he behaves like a buffoon in this chapter. I definitely will continue with #thebros to figure out who everyone is down deep and what‘s going to happen next. 14mo
CatLass007 It‘s actually hard to stick to one chapter a day because the chapters are a manageable length and I want to get to the “meat” of this story. But I know I‘m free to read it however I wish and I do enjoy our daily discussion. 14mo

KAO @currentlyreadinginCO I also have had to skim the previously read chapter before moving on to the new chapter each day! “Wait. Who is this again?” And then another check of the list of characters (and the 13 alternate names listed for each). This is how I only got through the first third of War and Peace and finally gave up (many years ago). I hope I can stick with this one! 14mo
currentlyreadinginCO I am glad that I am not the only one!! I also googled a character name to see who they were and a whole explanation was available since this book is so well-studied, so that's an option if you get stuck! @KAO 14mo
