What a powerful book this was! Featuring essays from different Black women, this book was likely seen as radical in its time (1970). We need these words followed by collective direct action, now more than ever. These voices discuss how all issues intersect with a lens that only Black Feminism can give.

I'm a day late, but I wanted to join in. The last few months have been awful. However, the last few days, I've started feeling so much better. 🤞I'm out of the cycle of constant asthma flare-ups and chest infections.
My 5 joys are
1) 🌞📚☕️🐞🦋🐦⬛🦉
2) The dawn chorus
3) Gloria
4) It's Mother's Day tomorrow, thinking about my beautiful mum, gone for 22 years but never forgotten.
5) My aunt's gorgeous yellow magnolia
Happy #Chatterday 🌞
It is a bloomin' gorgeous spring day. 🌞☕️🌞 I'm sitting in the garden with a coffee. And I actually feel really well today for the first time in months.
How is everyone today?

Looking forward to the Dworkin reissues! (Great covers imo.) I‘ve read 2 of these 3, and had to read them as pdfs 🙃 so we‘re well overdue for the reprint.
First time in my classroom since May…
I read a few pages and I‘m already in love with it 🥰👏
August #BookSpinBingo! #Spin is also my choice for #Jamaica for #FoodandLit, so that's convenient.
