Had a doctors appt today so decided to take a full “mental health” day from work, treat myself to brunch and a mani, and start in on my #AuthorAMonth pick on audio.

I read 32. A lot came from my childhood. A few from reading for Battle of the Books. And, I love children's lit. A few that are memorable, besides the tagged,are Kira-Kira, Bud, Not Buddy, and Roll of Thunder, Hear My Cry. Excellent literature. So many I still need to read.

I slacked o lot this year on my reading. I‘m going to try and pick it back up in 2025.

1-2) I attended the dinner & received the cornerstone award and flowers from Operation Homefront
3) I finished lots of cards and mailed out most of them
4) Tree decorated!
5) & most importantly son made it home safely from the long drive from north Arizona for Christmas break and it‘s just the best thing ever to have my whole family home
Bonus) I had an ablation yesterday on my lower back-fingers crossed
I‘ve finished for Christmas….I survived this semester.
Meeting friends for tea but I‘m early, so reading it is.
