#rocktober #YouGiveLoveABadName This book was so difficult a read because of the subject matter it portrayed, it certainly made you stop and think what goes on Behind Closed Doors in the name of love, for love read domination, control and abuse! Certainly brought strong emotions to the fore for me!!!
Most definitely gives love a bad name!

#Rocktober oh Ingrid, #YouGiveLoveABadName and you're a pretty crappy mom, too! This was a really twisted story of complicated relationships. Gorgeous evocative prose and lyrical writing but dark subject matter.

tricours I read this in Swedish many years ago, but something about it annoyed me, it felt so fake (perhaps a bad translation). And isn't there something about them being Vikings or Scandinavians or something like that? I remember cringing at that. 7y

Cinfhen I do recall some Viking reference in the book🤔maybe the book didn't translate well because in English the writing was impressive @tricours 7y
