This book has been on my shelf for a while and I finally got around to reading it. Not many books give me enough feels for tears, but this one sure did. Glad I picked this one up. A beautiful story of the journey of healing.

This book was recommended by a friend, and it was so worth it. Loved this story. 😍🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
Self help isn‘t my thing (only read this for book club), but as an audiobook I didn‘t mind it.
Cute cute cute. January and Gus were love-able characters. ❤️❤️
Could not put this one down! Stayed up way too late for a few days because it was so good. 5 stars!
I was feeling artistic today. Very proud of myself for reading 40 books this year. I didn‘t really start reading as an adult until 2020 when the world shut down. And I‘ve increased my read books each year since. This is a really nice feeling, very accomplished. ❤️ 📚
Cutest 🏳️🌈 Rom-Com I‘ll definitely be adding to my favorites list. :) Characters were extremely like-able, flaws, quirks, and all! ❤️🧡💛💚💙💜
Let me start by saying, this book was beautifully written. I could picture everything easily and I can‘t wait to see the tv show. However, the book just moved too slowly for me, which is why I‘m giving it a “so-so” rating.
This was an easy read for book club. Enjoyed it, but nothing to write home about. Except Will sucks!
Well well well. This was a cute book with some very spicy scenes that I did not expect. Can‘t say I was disappointed tho… the opposite actually. 😈😎💋I‘ll definitely be reading the other two in this series. :)
The last 100 pages had me on edge. Whew child. It was intense. Definitely a good book. Kind of a slow build with some excitement throughout. I sort of saw the twist coming, I like to figure it out before I get to the twist. Good night!
This was October‘s pick for one of my book clubs. I liked it, had some unexpected salacious scenes towards the end of the book and very vivid, sometimes gory details. It‘ll make for an interesting discussion for sure.
"When the world isn't selling what you're looking to buy, you just have to take it upon yourself to cut your own pattern.”
Super cute book. Now I need to go back and read Puddin‘ and possibly Dumplin‘ (but I‘ve already watched this movie so ?).
Anyway, if you‘re looking for a light, cute, quick read, this is a good one.
Book club tonight was so fun! I chose this book, and everyone loved it! We even had book club themed cookies. :)
This is my first Colleen Hoover book… it‘s not exactly what I was expecting, given all the hype around this author. I kind of thought this book was a train-wreck, but I also couldn‘t stop listening (audiobook). It reminded me of fifty shades of grey to be honest. Not a terrible read, but didn‘t sell me on this author. I‘m going to read Verity too, so we‘ll see if that changes my opinion of Colleen Hoover.
I really only knew Garcelle from the Jamie Foxx Show and then Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. This book was enjoyable to listen to and I learned a lot about Garcelle! 💜
What?!?!?! This book was something else. Unexpected and a page turner for sure. I will need to reread this book at some point just to make sure I understood everything that happened!
“When you reach the top of a hill, you can often look back and see the whole path you took to make the journey. But while you‘re on the path, it‘s sometimes impossible to see where you are going or where you have been.”
⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ Such a cute book! The last 75 pages or so totally surprised me, which made me love this story even more.
I‘ve always liked Matthew McConaughey as an actor. His book did not disappoint.
5 stars. Enjoyed this murder mystery. :) Can‘t wait to discuss at book club!
I gave this one a “so-so” because it just kind of drug on for me. I think I might have enjoyed this more if I read it instead of listened to the audiobook. The ending was sweet though.
An inspirational story for sure. Viola Davis has lived quite a life of ups and downs. I learned a lot about her I didn‘t know. Glad I listened to this one.
Enjoyed listening to Chrissy Metz‘ life story. She has such a wonderful spirit and is someone I could see myself being friends with.
Heavy book but glad I read this one. I loved Adunni so much and was happy she got what she deserves in the end. 💚💚
Can‘t wait to see the movie now. I‘m hoping it will be closely aligned with the book. :) This was a fast read, once I was in a reading mood. Cried at the end and tugged at my heart throughout. I can definitely see what all the fuss was about.
Excellent BLM book. Can‘t wait to watch the movie now. :) ✊🏿✊🏾✊🏽✊🏼✊🏻
⭐️ 🌟 ⭐️ 🌟 ⭐️ This book was the best book I‘ve read in a while. Alexis and Daniel captured my heart. Now to find more books read by Abby Jimenez. 😍❤️
This was a heartfelt letter from a father to his son. It was an emotional read as they had an estranged relationship. The author writes this book as if it was his father writing to him. It‘s how he imagined his father would have written to him, had his father not forgotten things with Alzheimer‘s. This book was good, took me a while to read because I‘ve been in a reading slump, but good nonetheless.
This was a really cute audiobook, and the narrator did a fabulous job. This was a feel good listen.
Really fast paced book, definitely prepare yourself for the graphic nature, but really good all in all. I wouldn‘t exactly call this a thriller, more like a graphic drama I guess. It was good though.
Debated on giving this a pick or so-so rating and went with so-so. This audiobook was okay, I liked the ending and didn‘t mind that it was predictable, but all of the lives and options the main character had for her life got jumbled for me. I wanted to like it more, just found it lack luster.
Enjoyed listening to this one. If you can get past bad “country” accents, it‘s a good story of women empowerment and resilience in the 1930‘s. Also based on a true events, so that‘s cool.
What a wonderful book and story this was! This book gave me a new perspective on HIV and those living with HIV. I couldn‘t put this book down on several occasions because it kept me wanting more, but bedtimes and such… haha. Definitely recommend!
Really enjoyed listening to Becoming, and especially loved that it was read by Michelle Obama. This book gave me insights that I hadn‘t known or thought about, and honestly made me miss the days when she was First Lady. Definitely recommend, even if you don‘t agree with her politics.
Another great thriller/mystery to add to my list. I enjoyed the twists and turns in this one more than I thought I would. Just when I was starting to figure things out, something else came and surprised me again! Definitely recommend this one if you like twists and turns that you don‘t see coming… for miles and miles!
Listened to this audiobook and as much as I enjoyed it, it also frustrated me to no end. lol. The misogyny in the fire department was just so much, but the good moments made up for it. Would definitely recommend.
This one was just okay to me. It wasn‘t bad, but also wasn‘t really a favorite. Nice story of friendship over time, just so so for me. I enjoyed the short stories aspect of it, showing me different times in the characters lives over decades.
Wow. What an amazing book. I cried for most of the last 100 pages, so many emotional moments of sadness and joy. I loved seeing the development of all the characters, especially their relationships with one another. Evangeline‘s story of discovering love and the fact that she deserved love was so moving. 10 out of 10 would recommend the read.
OMG!!!! This book was amazing!!!! I seriously could not put it down. Such a feel good book.
I knew this book had a twist and I was looking out for it the whole time. It wasn‘t until I was reading it that I figured it out. Very good book and super fast read. I couldn‘t put it down because I was so invested.
“Let go of the life you‘ve planned and accept the life that‘s waiting for you.” Read this book in 2021, but have since discovered Litsy and wanted to share. This quote spoke to my soul and maybe it will speak to you as well. ❤️ I loved this book so much. You can feel the relationship struggles throughout but love and forgiveness win in the end.
Put together this bookshelf for all my BOTM books. I love it! ❤️💙💚📕📚📖
This book was a great read. Probably a new favorite. More violence than I usually read, but the rest of the storyline more than made up for it.
Another audiobook! If you‘ve ever seen the movie Misery, this book is basically the same storyline. Sort of. It was a fast audiobook for me because I was so invested, and I would definitely recommend.
Listened as an audiobook, really enjoyed it. The character development throughout made my heart happy and it was an interesting storyline. :)
Listened to audiobook. Started out thinking one thing, then twists and turns just kept coming all the way until the end! Enjoyed this one.
