Time for some non-fiction... Was browsing my library and saw this..looks interesting..
#memoir
The blurb says that this book is a...INSTANT NEW YORK TIMES, USA TODAY, AND LOS ANGELES TIMES BESTSELLER SOON TO BE A MAJOR MOTION PICTURE An NPR Best Book of the Year, 2015 A ShelfAwareness Best Book of the Year,
And it's on so many lists...
I found this book to be very average... I finished it for the sake of finishing it... It's between a so-so and don't bother for me... Average plot & average characters..
When your library hold comes in early!!!! #excited
I just finished reading The Grey Sister on the weekend and got the next one today... Yay!!
“His knees shook, and he was wroth with himself. ‘Here is a thing unheard of!‘ he said. ‘An Elf will go underground and a Dwarf dare not!‘ ”
I'm interested in mental health so let's see how this book does...
Scrolling through my library's ebook collection and saw this book.. hope it's a good thriller!!
Loved the first book.. Looking forward to diving into the next!! #grishaverse
🌟🌟🌟🌟 stars...
I enjoyed reading this book. I really felt the tension of the 'elephant in the room'...racism and how so many of us wouldn't describe ourselves as 'racist' and yet, we all have inherent biases and we need to be aware of what they are...
Something else to think about...deciding between when to make something a teachable moment and when to let it go and just continue with your life the best you can....
I usually love most of Jodi Picoult's books... Looking forward to reading this one!!
On a side note, Litsy doesn't have enough bookish stickers IMO...
Totally agree with the title of the book...
drinking tea or wine while reading is also equally good... Not picky.. lol

3.5 stars... A quick read... Lots of plot twists... I enjoyed it but didn't love it... It started off really well but It wasn't 'edge of the seat' stuff for me. And I'm still not sure how I feel about the ending!!!
🎧🎧🎧. There's been a LOT of hype about this book and it sounded interesting so I thought I'd give it a go. I listened to this an audiobook and thoroughly enjoyed listening to it. It lived up to the hype. Loved the characters with all their complexities and flaws, love the life lessons....
Oh... And loved the reveal!!!! 👀👀👀👀
If Evelyn Hugo was real, I would be binge watching her movies right now!!! 🧡💜💛💙💚
In the mood for a mystery so picked up this one...
"Each time Rasbach is called out on a case, he never knows what to expect. Nonetheless, each time he unravels the puzzle, he is never surprised. His capacity for surprise seems to have evaporated. But he is always curious. He always wants to know."
I devoured this book... Really enjoyable... And now I'm going to move onto Uprooted!
I enjoyed this book. It's simple and succinct. I'll be attempting to include the learnings in my conversations going forward.
Reading this book as part of a book club and doing mind-mapping so I can remember the key points. I need to focus on reading more self-development books... It's just that fiction is so much more fun and relaxing especially fantasy!!! 😀🦄 🐲
I really enjoyed the series. I listened to the whole series as audiobooks - first for me... I think I'm getting into audiobooks now...makes the drive to work more enjoyable...
I enjoyed reading the book... But it wasn't as emotional as i thought it was going to be...maybe because I was already prepared for it to be heart breaking...
The question... What would you do if you knew that today was the day you were going to die... always gets me... So much I want to do... Places I want to visit... People that I want to spend more time with....
I didn't know much about this book before reading it... Other than the fact that a lot of other people recommended it... Another book that I read in one sitting... Another book that deals with emotionally heavy topics and does it well...
Another one that I read in one sitting on Sunday... The book delivered on the hype... Broke my heart.. made me think... Beautifully written...
I read this tonight in one sitting. It‘s a short book that packs a punch 🥊 it took me a while to get used to the writing style but the story sucked me in... It's raw and real and full of pain. It deals with a lot of heavy topics so tread carefully.
My library hold came in!!! I‘ve heard good things about this one...
#longweekend means lots of reading!!
Also, 50 books read for the year!! #goodreadsreadingchallenge
I've been reading a lot of contemporaries which are usually a quick read... I'll be reading lots more fantasy in the coming months which usually takes longer so the book count will probably slow down.. current goal is to read 75 books this year!
Starting my next read! Sounds interesting...

Quick read...but full of emotion! Love can be found anywhere...even in hell.. 💖💕💗
I‘d heard quite a few people talk about this book and it didn‘t live up to the hype for me. I‘m thinking that maybe this high-school teenage-drama-mystery style just isn‘t for me. I didn‘t really care about any of the characters so good thing this was a fast read. I did appreciate the final twist.
Going to start this next... have heard/seen mixed reviews about this one!
What a great idea for a giveaway! @cobwebmoth #chooseyourowngiveaway
I would love a box of bookish goodies!
I felt like this book didn‘t live up to its potential. I didn‘t really care about the characters, the plot wasn‘t that interesting and the romance wasn‘t great. I finished the book for the sake of it.
Starting the next book in the series!

💗 💖 💕 loved this book!! The writing and the story drew me in from the first page. The story is about loss, about heartache, about dealing with your past demons, about family, about surviving and finally, finding yourself. I also loved all the beautiful descriptions of the Australian landscape - from the sea to its red centre and of course the descriptions of all the native flowers. ❣️💯✅
