I am very much enjoying this book! So many things live with us in our homes.

What a fun, quick read. Maud is a naughty little old lady! As a bonus, this book is tiny and adorable too.

Reading this one for throwback book club.

Reading time = time to play fetch (I have been throwing this half-skinned tennis ball, which she also dropped in her water bowl so it is a little wet, for hours)

Kate Atkinson is one of my favorites - I‘ve been really looking forward to this one!

My daughter is in driver‘s ed and I have a couple of hours to kill. This book is a great way to pass the time!

What a ride! I couldn‘t put this one down.

Saturday morning read!

I had some issues with this book and when I saw that Tucker Max was the ghostwriter, I understood why. His voice really came through in certain parts. I really wish she had picked someone else to ghostwrite... Her stories are interesting, funny, and sometimes tragic. Unfortunately, they just have a Tucker Max feel.

I really liked this collection of short stories and art. It is a fast read and I had read a couple of them before. As a side note, I love this quote.

This has been sitting on my shelf for years - I‘m finally going to read it!

Last day of vacation read.

I‘ve added to my collection - now I have HP in Portuguese! Purchased from the awesome bookstore Bertrand Livreiros in Lisbon.

I‘ve been crazy busy at work and have a ton to do today, but I decided to take some time to read this morning!

Continuing my serial killer book spree with this one - serial killers in Sweden! So far, it is very, very creepy.

I really enjoyed this book - I tend to like books about siblings. Additionally, I loved how Benjamin described the physical locations. I‘m going to recommend this one to my book club!

I loved Oyeyemi‘s writing style in this book, but not sure if this was the book for me.

#RiotGram Day 3: Favorite Title - Definitely this one!

#Riotgram Day 2: Library Love! I really do love our little North Boulder corner library. All the librarians are lovely people, they have lots of new releases, and it is within walking distance of my house. I go weekly to pick up my holds.

I‘m super impressed with all the research and time Grann put into this book. Such an interesting, yet also horrific, story. I now need to read something light and uplifting!

A quick read about Portland in the late 1990s (and 2009) focusing on what happens when Andrea, active member of the Lesbian Mafia, gets pregnant.

This is now called Heavy Vinyl and is so good! Teenage girl fight club set in 1998? Yes, please! My three daughters and I highly recommend this one.

I‘ve seen mixed reviews of this one, but so far I‘m really enjoying it.

I put this book on hold and then was surprised when it arrived pretty quickly. Turns out I accidentally put the large print version on hold, but I might keep this trick in mind for other popular books!

My coworker loves this series, so I‘m giving it a try!

A snowy/rainy Saturday afternoon read. What will Flavia get up to this time?

I love that this book was created. It has such a sweet message and is great for children. Hooray for John Oliver, Jill Twiss, and EG Keller!

My husband is not a big reader, but this is his favorite book. I finally finished it today! And, I can see why it is his favorite.

I have book club in about 9 hours and am just starting this one. Hopefully I can finish it! (I have some long waits today that will help.)

It was an absolutely gorgeous day today, so I read outside in the sunshine. The topic of the book, however, wasn‘t so uplifting! But, I do recommend Lady Killers to any true crime fans.

My librarian knows I‘m addicted to My Favorite Murder, so she recommended this one.

I‘m a climate scientist, so I read a lot of books about climate change and weather. This is a book of essays about various historical disasters and how humans respond to them. Then, the author looks at climate change and how our resilience to past catastrophes can shape how we respond to climate change. It is a fast read, incredibly well-written, and leaves me with a sense of hope. All of you should read this!

This book made the last flight in my journey fly by! (Yes, punny.) Even if I hadn‘t been trapped in a plane, I don‘t think I could have put it down.

I‘m flying to Dublin and am looking forward to digging into this one on my flight!
