This is a fantastic discussion about the intersection between being Jewish and being Black and the way the cultural landmarks of traditional food help define both. I‘m a huge fan of this author‘s work.

A great reminder about why romance books are so awesome! The book and cultural references are a little dated and white author centered but the underlying theme is still important!
Hey All, for those of you on #Netgalley, Katherine Center‘s New book is a “read now” choice.
Another great spooky thriller from Simone St. James! I loved the mid-90s setting!
Super excited for both my #bookspin and #doublespin this month! Thanks as always to the @TheAromaofBooks
First book of the year! Another great book in the Chronicles of Elantra series.
Cutting it down to the wire, but here is my list for January‘s #readyourkindle @CBee
So my goal this year was to read 80 books (kindle, audio & physical) from my TBR. My one rule is it had to be purchased 2023 or earlier. This cut my unread books down by a third so I‘m going for it again this year! #readyourkindle and #bookspin were a big help in staying motivated. Thanks to @TheAromaofBooks & @CBee for organizing the challenges.
I can‘t believe 2025 is coming up! I had to scramble to update my bookspin list ahead of the new year. Thanks @TheAromaofBooks for organizing. #bookspin #bookspinbingo #doublespin #January2025
This was such a fun book! The leftover heroes from a massive and tragic battle must reunite for a wedding. They are all 10 years older but not all of them have grown wiser. I loved the very real way it takes on loss and trauma and the growth and struggles of the main characters while also providing a top notch story and fantasy world. Beatrice, Elowen & Clare are compelling and you root for them!
A fun and satisfying conclusion to this series! K.M. Shea really hits the spot sort of a half-cozy romance fantasy. (Not the tagged book)
Another great book in the Magiford series! I can‘t wait to see how Jade and Considine‘s story ends!
My bookish view today! (Actually reading “The Lies of Enemies and Allies” but it‘s not in the database. I love this author so much!
Erin French is the chef/owner of The Lost Kitchen and tells an An inspirational story about how she got there. She never gave up and the women in her circle supported her.
Just a little light reading on the flight to Cancun
I‘m heading to 5 days at the beach over Xmas/Hanukkah. What is the correct number of books to pack… somewhere between 1 and 7? But 7 is probably too many? 🤷🏼♀️
I usually love a friend to lovers books, but I got a little frustrated with the dynamic between Jasmine and Rahul and how long it took in their friendship before they really communicated.
An interesting thriller set in post-wwii Japan
An interesting thriller with a series of murders set against the backdrop of an impending wildfire.
A fun addition to the 5 Packs series and a great second chance romance!
Hi All! My friend Nicole from work has joined Listy. Please welcome @NikVbooks 🎉🎉🎉
And here‘s my #readyourkindle choices for this month. An eclectic assortment for sure! Thanks @CBee for organizing!
A suspenseful True Crime books about the search for justice in a famous Alaskan murder case. I felt so much sympathy for the people affected by this tragedy, and was appalled by the way the police originally handled the case. ⤵️
My #bookspin for this month. I read both of my books last month! (Yay!) thanks for organizing @TheAromaofBooks
A fascinating look at Munchausen by Proxy through the stories of 3 different women and the trauma they put their families through. This book was heartbreaking at times, and I‘m amazed at the courage of the children who made it out the other side. Thanks to #Netgalley for the arc.
I‘m super excited! I read all my #bookspin & #readyourkindle books this month!
I finished all 4 of my #readyourkindle books this for this month! I‘m feeling very motivated to hit my goal of 80 books over a year old from my TBR before the end of the year. 10 more to go! Thanks @CBee for organizing!
A really fascinating thriller focusing on a kidnapping survivor turned police officer. I hadn‘t read any other book in the series and was able to pick this up without any difficulty. This is a belated #netgalley ready, so thank you NetGalley! #readyourkindle
Book‘s not in the database… An interesting take on a pandemic thriller set on my favorite vacation island from my childhood. Kelly‘s Island in Lake Erie. The story was great, but it could have used another run through with an editor for a couple characters that felt a stereotyped. #readyourkindle
This was a chilling dual-timeline book that was perhaps a little too grim for me to be reading this week. I‘m reading through a backlog of old #netgalley requests, so also thanks to NetGalley for this book. #readyourkindle
1. Reading
2. Early morning dog walks
3. Litsy
4. White wine
5. Sitting around a fire in the crisp fall evenings

This book had an interesting concept, as a blend of true crime and fiction, but it didn‘t quite work for me. Between a pick and a so-so because I‘d love to see what the author does next.
This is my #bookspin, which I‘m already partially through before the spin (yay)! Hoping to read both this month. Thanks as always @TheAromaofBooks
An interesting premise for a thriller. Neva is a hired killer, who finds herself the target of a colleague‘s next hit. While trying to save herself, she uncovers a massive conspiracy. Thanks to #netgalley for this read!
Pretty good for my #Readyourkindle for October. 3 out of 4 books read!
Here are my books for November‘s #readyourkindle #readyourbooks. Thanks @CBee
A thoughtful look at how you can shape your attitude and mental health through daily and weekly rituals. #bookspin
Another amazing book from Rivers Solomon. It‘s been on my kindle forever, so glad I finally got a chance to read it! #readyourkindle #readyourbooks
A great continuation of the series!
