#Litsy meet Yoyo! 😄🦎❤️ he's my baby!
This is the first time I've featured him in a post, while I was taking photos he was trying to get involved, climbing all over everything 😂

So I read #theboneseason for the first time this year and oh my god! Why did I wait so long to read this series? It's so good! I loved every book! Warden is my husband and seriously, if you haven't read these books DO IT NOW! You won't regret it 😍

#book #bibliophile

Foragingfantasy Is it going to be more than 3 books? I have the first 2, and read the first one and loved it! 7y
herpaperadventure @Foragingfantasy Yes! I'm not sure how many exactly but there's definitely more than 3! 7y
The_Heeler_Booklife I heard that there will be 7 books. I thought the first book was meh, but the last 100 pages was good, so I'm hoping the Mime Order is better. 7y

I'm currently reading The Long Way to a Small Angry Planet by Becky Chambers, I'm 190 ish pages into this 400 page book and I'm enjoying it, I want more to happen though, I'm sure there's a ton of stuff that's going to be going on soon, because we've kind of been building up to something big... I think, but I want it to happen sooner 😂 and I'm growing pretty impatient, think I might put it down for a little while and start something else! #book

The Final Empire | Brandon Sanderson
post image

So about a week ago I finished the second book (The Well of Ascension) in the Mistborn series. I think I preferred the first book (The Final Empire) more than the second but I am honestly loving these books so much! These are my first #brandonsanderson books and I can't wait to read more from him!

Buddy reading this series with @areadersrambles and can't wait to start the third book! We're taking a little break before starting it though! ☺️

Utopiyll Oh my goodness, same!! I loved the first mistborn book. I was obsessed but for me I wasn't as intrgued by the 2nd which was sad because I loved the setting/plot/idea of the first one!! The whole trilogy is still fantastic though and was strong the whole way through! 💕 7y
Sophoclessweetheart Need to read these x 7y
Kole.world The second book was a little slow but some of it was really heartbreaking. I had to put the third on hold because my emotions 7y

herpaperadventure @Utopiyll Yeah, I felt the same, but it was still a good book and very important to the whole story, I feel like not a lot happened until right near then end, but I still really enjoyed the whole book!! And I'm so excited to read the third one 🎉 7y
herpaperadventure @SeelieWarrior You do! If you like Sanderson I'm pretty sure you'll love these, I can't wait to read more of his books! 7y
herpaperadventure @Kole.world Yes! Omg, the last two parts were definitely the best but yeah, there were some heartbreaking bits in there 😢 7y
Kole.world @herpaperadventure the kandra storyline broke my heart. Omg just thinking about it upsets me 😭 7y

I am so in love with this cover. It's so beautiful 😍

I hope the story inside is just as amazing as the cover. Have any of you read this one yet? If you have comment and let me know your thoughts!

This one has been on my TBR for so long 🙄 anyone else's TBR so ridiculously huge it's scary? 🙊

#thebonewitch #rinchupeco #book #books #bibliophile #bookworm #booknerd #booklove #booklover #read #reader #booklovers #tbr

eattrainread That cover 👌🏼❤️ haven't read it, but that cover is a stunner! I know how you feel about your TBR, I can relate, it's seriously scary how big my TBR pile has become 🙊 7y
herpaperadventure @eattrainread Right? It's so pretty it hurts! 😍 it was a cover buy for me to be honest! It's ridiculous, you'd think we would have all learned by now not to buy so many books when we already own so many we haven't read yet 😂 7y
eattrainread @herpaperadventure I think that's impossible, whenever I enter a bookstore my mind just begins to chant "oooooh look at those pretty books, buy buy buy buy" and then I leave the bookstore at least one book richer ? and then I manage to cut back buying books for like two months, but then I feel like I have catching up to do hahaha 7y
See All 15 Comments
herpaperadventure @eattrainread I have to agree, I can't walk into a bookstore and leave with nothing, I can barely leave with only one book and not a huge stack 😂 I'm in desperate need of more shelf space though, which is becoming a problem. Still hasn't stopped me buying books though! 😂 and I know what you mean, book buying bans are great, until you stop them and have to buy all the books you missed out on! 7y
jesssiereads Yes it seems like I read one book but end up adding like four more to my TBR pile. It's a never ending cycle and a endlessly growing pile. 7y
herpaperadventure @jesssiereads haha yes! This is me as well 😂 #booknerdproblems 7y
jrosewordsmith At last count my physical TBR was about 50. Then there's e-books. And audiobooks. And library books. And the ones I want to read but don't have yet 😭 7y
MrBook Gorgeous pic and cover! 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻 7y
littleliterarybird That cover is beautiful! 😱😍 7y
herpaperadventure @jrosewordsmith 😂 I think mine was around 70 last I counted! And omg yes! Like no, having waaaaay to many physical copies isn't enough, we need hundreds of ebooks too 😂 7y
herpaperadventure @MrBook Thank you 😘 7y
Sophoclessweetheart I read this and unfortunately it wasn't for me. But I had so much love for Teaz 7y
Chocomeiske I have yet to finish this, started reading it on my eReader then decided I liked it enough to get a physical copy but haven't picked it's up since.,Also I totally understand about intimidating TBRs.. Mine is over 500! Only difference is that it doesn't bother me, on the contrary, I find it comforting knowing I'm not going to run out of something to read 😀 (edited) 7y

It's been so long since I've posted on Litsy! 😱
So I'm going through the books I've recently read and updating my account, #acowar was one of my most anticipated reads for the whole of 2017, in fact I think it was the same for most people, and although I did love it, I definitely had some problems with it, like the ending, was I the only one pissed about the ending? 🤔

LaylaFray I didn't like the ending either! The book was just "okay" for me ? 7y

Okay, how has EVERYONE got their copy of this but me? C'mon Amazon, pull your damn finger out! I've been waiting for this to come out for a long time and I NEED IT NOW! 😭

wanderlust_lit I don't trust Amazon for same day release day deliveries anymore. If it's a book I really have been invested in I'll go right to the store or reserve it my local store. Amazon just can't come through on this for me. 8y
herpaperadventure @wanderlust_lit I pre-ordered it back in May? I think. And it had no expected delivery date on it the other day when I checked, whereas I book I pre-ordered that's out next March has an expected delivery date? Which made no sense to me. So I cancelled the order and pre-ordered it again. Same thing. No expected delivery date. If it's not here by tomorrow (the day Amazon claims is the release day) I am going to be very p'd off! 😭😩 8y
CaitlinSiem With books I *need* to have on release day, I preorder the ebook. My hard copy is set to arrive sometime this week but I don't worry as much since I have it to read on my kindle. 8y
herpaperadventure @CaitlinSiem yeah, I think I'm going to have to buy the ebook, I'm not sure I can wait until my hard copy arrives! ☺️ 8y
wanderlust_lit @JordanLouise I live really close to a Barnes and Noble. Target. And local bookstore. So those are my go to places to pick up books I need rn. A lot of times with Amazon they will ship it the day it's released hence the later delivery date. I heard people had a bunch of problems with Harry Potter and the Cursed Child when it came out and Amazon was late on delivery. 8y

Finished this one a couple days ago, it was okay, a little young in some places but the ending was pretty damn good and even though some parts dragged quite a bit, I'm interested to know what happens next, so I'm pretty sure I'll carry on with the series! But with all the books coming out that I am dying to read I think it'll be a while until I pick this series back up!

I've never read anything that has brought out so many emotions, for instance, I've NEVER cried while reading a book, that is until now, I was bawling my eyes out at some parts, felt so much love and happiness in others, and I was always, with every chapter, falling in love with this beautiful story.

I have such conflicted feelings about this. I didn't dislike Gone, I liked the whole idea of adults disappearing and kids forming supernatural abilities. I mean, how cool is that? But there was just too much going on with the plot twist and I have no desire to read the rest of the series.

TeaStories Read the first book when it originally came out and loved it. The rest of the series just gets more and more confusing. But I had to finish because I felt emotionally invested in the little kids haha 8y
herpaperadventure @TeaStories haha I hear you! Once you're emotionally invested there's no turning back. I'm pretty bummed out that I didn't feel like that with this one because I liked the plot and loved some characters (Lana/Edilio/Diana/Astrid), but after finishing I had no desire to pick up the next one :'( 8y

I have very mixed feelings about this book. I enjoyed The Novice but I didn't love it. I just couldn't connect with any of the characters. The plot and plot twists kept me wanting to know more about this world with elves, dwarfs, demons and orcs. So yeah, I'll be reading The Inquisition.

After trudging through the first half, which was incredibly slow and very boring, I was so tempted to give up, there just wasn't enough action for me. I'm quite glad I didn't though as it became a more interesting read the further on you got, even if it was still very, very slow.

MysticRaven03 I'm glad to hear it gets better! I was so excited to start this book but really feel like I'm struggling to get through it. 8y
herpaperadventure I was the same, it took me ages to finish it and usually I'm a pretty quick reader. It does get more interesting in the last 40/30% of the book but, it is still super slow and there's still not enough action in my opinion. I'm hoping after certain events in the first, the second will be much better! 8y
