As someone who only wears Vans shoes, when I saw this book I knew I had to get it. Following Paul Van Dorens life, this book is mainly about how he got into the shoe business and how Vans was created. He gives you a lot of life lessons and what it means to be a family, even in your company. It is definitely worth the read.

I got really into the anime and thought why not try to read the Manga. Im glad I decided to read it because it's absolutely amazing so far

Twainy My 11 year old nephew loves this manga. Book 11 has been sold out for MONTHS it‘s finally on its way from B&N so I can finish sending him the rest. 😁 I bought him all of the One Piece manga, that series is never ending!! 😆 Enjoy!! 3y
mnjacques @Twainy is one piece good? 3y
Twainy If you asked an 11 yr old boy who has all of the 3 book omnibuses & spin offs he‘d say yes. I know a few IT guys who also really like it. Who doesn‘t love Luffy! Sadly I‘m the wrong one to ask as I prefer anime & my manga tends to be a bit on the darker side ... like Tokyo Ghoul or Junji Ito. The little hardcover Full Metal Alchemists are nice. 3y

Suicide Notes | Michael Thomas Ford

This book was absolutely amazing and what I needed to read. It follows a 15 year old boy names Jeff and his 45 day treatment due to him attempting to commit suicide. It had some humor in it. It was more than about someone going to treatment because they need help. It was more about acceptance and accepting who you truly are.

"The truest part of me has always known and just now understands that this is where healing happens and this is where healers abide"

This memoir was just what I needed to read. Michelle is an ER doctor in Philly. She talks about some of the patients she has come across in her career, but this book is much more than that. She talks about the way she's learned to heal from her childhood and her failed marriage from learning to heal others.

I've watched the Netflix movie too many times to count, and thr sequel comes out this month, so I thought why not read the series. I absolutely loved it! The characters are likable, its a cute story. And I was just engrossed the whole time. I had only wished I didn't have to work this entire weekend so I could have finished it sooner! I can't wait to read the next one to find out what happens to Elle and Noah.

Time Bomb | Joelle Charbonneau

It was a little slow in the beginning due to character development since there are quite a bit of characters, but it picked up. But it was more than just about the characters being stuck in a school while the school is being bombed. It addresses real world situations and how high school kids (or really anyone) feel about their lives. I really enjoyed this one!

This book was so worth the wait! It was interesting to see how his life was, that he was at one point able to love someone, and how that love turned him into the person he was in the hunger games trilogy. It was also interesting to see how him, his family, and even his old dean had shaped what is the hunger games. I highly enjoyed reading this one.

I was a little skeptical because of all the reviews I had read, but this actually wasn't a bad book! I thought some aspects were a little far fetched, but I felt the emotion in the book was spot on. There were many twists and turns, and the most shocking was the one at the very end.

A murder mystery at a wedding. Big secrets. There were so many twists I felt like I kept gasping! And the ending! I did not expect that one bit! I absolutely loved this book, despite some of the characters not being as enjoyable. The way it was written, it reminded me a lot of big little lies.

Another dangerous adventure for Harry Potter! I thoroughly enjoyed this book. What happens to Harry when he who must not be named comes back in body form? the only reason I gave this 3.5/5 ⭐ is because I felt that Harry was even more whiny than usual. This book was jam packed with adventure, magic and suspense.

This was a nice easy read. A lot of the reviews I read said they were disappointed because most of the book was about her early years being married to her first husband. But I feel like you needed a lot of background information from that time of her life to fully understand why she chose the route she did to achieve what she did in her life. It was such an intriguing read I found myself researching about the real Hedy Lemarr. What a great novel.

It wowed me from the first sentence, all thr way to the last sentende. Well done Mr. King

I must admit, I was a little worried that I wasn't going to like this sequel because Stephen King didn't co-write it like the first one. But I thoroughly enjoyed it. Even though it didn't have the horror feel like the first one, this short book showed that everyone has temptations and how magic and a little faith can make the worst situations turn good. This was probably the most difficult book to decide on if I loved it, or if it was okay. Dont get me wrong, i thought it was a good book, I was interested in all the facts and information it had to offer. But to me something just didn't feel right with the way it was written. This was the first book that has ever put me to sleep everytime I opened it up.
