So, this started off pretty interesting, when to a twist that I was on board with and wanted to know more.... then... kinda fizzled out and became way to unbelievable for me to really enjoy. It wasn't horrible. And well I was too far in to DNF, but if I knew where it was going, I wouldn't have picked it up, to begin with...
Pick of what I was doing when I finished it :)

This was an... interesting read. Started out good, but the more I read, the less I enjoyed it. I felt like it centered around a group of high school kids that went to sadistic extremes to have freedom to be together and completely invisible.

CMCurtis77 I got the exact same thing out of this book!!! 3y

I made it 100 pages and I am jumping ship. This book was very dry & seemed to lack any plot. The characters were lacking depth, I was utterly bored out of my mind. Did I mention there was absolutely NO plot or story line? This was a book better left on the shelf. Donation book box for this one. It even put Bougie to sleep 😴

Slowly knocking out my ever-growing TBR pile. This book has been sitting on my shelf now for a solid year if not longer 😬 It was one of my thrift store finds, the synopsis sounded interesting but I kept finding myself choosing other books to read. It is finally this one's time to shine!

This story was beautiful and well written with a twist I didn‘t see coming. Which honestly is rare for me. I definitely recommend. I read it in a day because I couldn‘t put it down!

Dark, troubling, twisted! This was just what I needed to get out of a slump! I stopped trying to figure out what was going to happen, because I knew I would be wrong! This book pulled me in, chewed me up, and spit me out. Pretty blown away

The book was amazing! I read it in less than 10 hours and can't even begin to describe it. The story was so well written and smooth. The middle had an amazing plot twist that iddint even see coming which is rare for me. I loved it and couldn't put the book down. This is hands down one of my favorite books.

This has been on my to read shelf for about a year? Officially setting it in a pile of maybe ten books I want to finish by the end of the year. Let‘s see if I can get my butt in gear.

Was ok for a debut YA teen thriller. Writing style a little basic and characterizations were a little sparse. Didn't really have any empathy or sympathy for Delia because of that.

As for the twist that comes quite early in the book, I for one didn't see that coming, but the rest were a bit blah and predictable.

Read in two days whilst sitting in the sun. I will be leaving it at the hotel.

I can't remember the last time I read a book in one day !
I would have enjoyed this more if the writing was neater and more structured. I didn't feel that connected to the characters either. That being said, it was a good quick mystery/thriller that I enjoyed.

3.5 🌟

This book was maybe two stars for me. While the overall theme is loosely a so so story-line, the age of the characters don‘t fit. Many of the characters are unbelievable. The last half of the book fell apart and the events at the end are unrealistic.

Stuck at the fairgrounds so my hubby can go get fresh feed for the cows. This one was in my kindle app on my phone so thought I would give it a go 🤷🏼‍♀️

Tamra Because I have a curious mind and love animals (town girl) do the cows get stressed by the travel & all the people/noise? 7y
Ashley_Nicoletto @Tamra I've always wondered this when I go to the fair too. I try to give the animals lost of space. (edited) 7y
morgan_krahn @Tamra and @Ashley_Nicoletto no, actually our cows do pretty well :) they come down to the fair grounds and get settled in before the fair is actually open to the public. Our cows are spoiled babies and love all the attention they get from the public walking through and giving them some head scratches and some lovin ☺️ 7y

ummmmm.... what?!

There were so many times when I'd start to question everything and poke holes in the plot but then, just when i think it would get more ridiculous, everything was explained.

And then that freaking ending (God i need someone to talk to about it 😅).

I thought this book was going one way but of course it kept twisting until it was insane.

Overall, 4⭐️

Chasing_Pages I have this in my TBR mountain waiting to be read. Glad to hear it's good, maybe I'll read it next. 7y

I really liked the way this book keeps you on the edge of your seat. The only thing that could be a down side is that you're not totally sure what's happening throughout most of the book. Also the ending was pretty disappointing and sad.

OH MY GOSH. was NOT expecting that ending!
It was a good book, a few typos, and a lot of twists. I predicted some of them, but just when i thought it was getting predictable there was a new twist i didn't see. Worth a read, but not necessarily a page turner. Some parts felt a little slow.
Over all a good book though!
