Reading Just Another Day at Your Local Public Library by Roz Warren just made me want to read more by this humorist author! Our bodies, our shelves, has some repeated stories from Just Another Day but many of them are original to this book, and we do get a little bit more insight into the author and her day as a librarian. A "just for fun" read that is guaranteed to make you smile if not laugh out loud...

While searching for something light to read on the Kindle store, I ran across this book. I really wanted to like it more than I actually did. I wanted it to be laugh out loud funny, but, alas, it was only mildly amusing. Still, it was what I was looking for — a light and quick read. Also it was part of Kindle Unlimited so I didn‘t have to pay for it.

#funfridayphoto #shelfies I'm at my mom's so these are actually her bookshelves. She read from morning til night...until she broke her hip in October. Now she can't get interested in reading. 😢

It has been a day of hard work. Putting up a sofa (carting down an old sofa), clearing old toys and kids clothes, and installing these lovely lovely shelves. I can't wait to fill them! It has been a tiring day but so worth it!
