Yey! Somehow I have read 200 books this year, it is only 5th November! Not even got past 180 before. When tired & not able to read I have listened to audiobooks, hence listened to more audiobooks this year. Other than that not sure what I've done differently. Now targeting 230 books this year. Could be a target too far! We will see.
10 years ago I was lucky to read a book a week, if that. Shows what can be done if you set your mind to it.

Andrew65 @Centique You should feel very proud of doubling from 40 to 80, doubling the amount you have read is an amazing achievement. 👏👏👏 That is how I started and I remember not many years ago being happy at getting to 75 in the year. This has built Year on Year. (edited) 7y

Andrew65 @Centique @batsy Thanks 😊Amazing what can be achieved when you set your mind to it, I have increased the amount of books I have read every year for the last 4-5. I don't know about #blameitonlitsy, initially it was #blameitonshelfari & working over a number of years to achieving the 12 x12 Challenge. Think it was three years (at least) before I got to the 144 books, & I do work full time at a very demanding job. Reading is my escapism from stress 7y
