Finally feeling up to a little bit of reading since baby Hank‘s arrival… although my book choices look a little different these days 😆

3.5 stars - I thought this would be more comedic than self-help, but alas I was wrong. That said, there were some funny parts mixed in and I did take away a few helpful pointers.
No, I don‘t hate John. But I‘m a firm believer of “if it‘s not broken” it still needs maintenance!!
It was really great. I highly recommend it. The author offered REAL insight with facts and interviews from the pros in a funnier way than any other self help book I‘ve come across. She kept the hard stuff light hearted without demeaning the subjects.
This book might save my marriage! Loved the practical advice backed by expert opinions and sociological studies. Highly recommend the audio book narrated by the author as well. She‘s hilarious.
Great advice! Honestly, the science made me feel better about men.
It‘s amazing just how much your life changes after having kids! This book had a lot of helpful information about how to keep the peace with your significant other once babies come into the picture. The above quote is so funny and so true! 😅👆🏻😂👶🏻🤣 4⭐️
My pick for the “borrowed book” prompt if the #popsugarreadingchallenge
Great book. Actionable stuff in here and a reminder that dads are parents too, not just “helping out!”
I'm pretty sure most moms I know could read this and nod their heads in agreement the entire time. Dunn manages to blend humor and research together in her nonfiction book about the roles husbands and wives fall into after they have children.
Left my current read at home... thank god I work in a library or I would lost!! I don't hate my husband or have worries that I might, but I thought this would be a funny read!
I'm not much for marriage advice or parenting books (none of us really know what we're doing in either case, right?) But I've had this one recommended to me a couple times, and I'm thinking of picking it up. Gotta love that title.

My husband is a rarity...we split housework and childcare evenly. He cooks for our family, is in charge of the yard work, and does the bills among many other tasks. I'm very lucky to have a partner. All of that said, this book offers awesome advice to (specifically) mothers on how to better relationships and communication. Change is often necessary for both parties in order to establish a lifestyle to benefit the whole family. So much truth here.
Good advice on handling conflict resolution that could be applied to most any kind of relationship.
Hilarious book on parenting!!!
