The Girl in 6E
The Girl in 6E | A. R. Torre
Deanna Madden, aka Jessica Reilly, hasn't touched another person in three years. She hasn't left her apartment. She makes money from performing to webcams on a sex site, where her clients pay $6.99 a minute for her time. She's doing alright. The dollars are piling up in the bank. She's the number 3 model on cams.com. And she hasn't killed anyone for years. But when Deanna sees on the news that a little girl called Annie has gone missing, the story rattles her carefully ordered world. It's uncomfortably similar to the dark fantasy of one of her most disturbing online clients. She's convinced he's responsible for the girl's abduction - but no one will listen to her. So, after three years, Deanna finally leaves the apartment. And this is what happens...

Cam girl Jessica has locked herself in her apartment for the last 3 years. Getting everything she needs online, because if she does leave that room she will murder someone. But sometimes a girl has to do what a girl has to do. There were some plot points that didn't work for me, but over all it was a satisfying read.

CoverToCoverGirl I enjoyed this one. I also recommend the second book too. 🙂 2mo

I hadn‘t read for so long, and being a thriller book, I wasn‘t to sure how I would go, I finished it so fast.
It‘s an easy read that keeps interest by using unique topics and characters, it kept me on edge and in suspense needing to know what happened and how the characters were going

Let me just say, it‘s so hot here I am melting. Perfect reading weather. This was a risqué little thriller. A cam girl with murderous tendencies becomes suspicious that one of her clients is going to commit a crime. This was an entertaining read and I‘m very interested in checking out the other books in this series and the author‘s other novels. It was a good, straightforward book, no crazy twists or false leads. Just what the doctor ordered.

Book 26: This was... a weird one. I figured out the plot twist pretty early on, and while it was enjoyable, the focus on her body and camming over, you know, her murderous tendencies was a little off-putting.

So I‘m part way through this (page 211) and what a gripping thriller....you kind of know what going to happen but how it‘s gets there keeps you turning the page, I started this last night and will finish it by this afternoon...haven‘t been able to put it down (other than to write this review ☺️)

This was such a cool, interesting take on a thriller. Deanna has locked herself in her apartment for the last three years, because she has an uncontrollable urge to murder, and she works as a cam girl to make money. She becomes wrapped up in a kidnapping when she hears of the disappearance of a little girl, and connects it to the fantasies of one of her clients. While Deanna isn‘t the most realistic character, it‘s super entertaining.

This is erotic suspense. Don't read if you are uncomfortable with sexual themes or fetishism.

Deanna is a cam girl with a serious case of blood lust. One day a little girl goes missing & Deanna recognizes it as the work of one of her clients. She decides to put her blood lust to work and rescue the girl. The cam sessions get a bit monotonous & takes up a lot of the story, but overall it was a unique & easy read, however it's not for everyone!

I found this book somewhat refreshing. The main character was a pornstar but was a virgin, the book showed how everything is accessible with a click of a mouse or button & how love can end up right at our doorstep. It was repetitive at times & I think her so called fear of killing could have been solved with a proper therapist even though she was dealing with several via 📱 & 💻 #thegirlin6e #artorre #bookshelf

Omg.. I don't think I've ever finished a book this fast in my life. I devoured this thing! Intense and disturbing. This book is as if you took the best of Dexter, 50 shades, and Dark Places and melded them into a book and into a MC that was actually likable despite her serious flaws. A sexy killer with a conscience and feelings! 👏🏼 5/5

Holy 💩 this book is good! Can't flip the pages fast enough!! Fair warning: this book gets pretty intense when it comes to sex and serial killer fantasies. So far, a good solid thriller that just keeps building on multiple levels. Fans of Dexter would approve 👌🏼

actualdisneyprincess This sounds amazing! (It also sounds like it's what "Maestra" by LS Hilton TRIED to be -- run FAR AWAY from that one if it crosses your path. ?) (edited) 8y
brittanyreads @actualdisneyprincess 😂😂 I've heard very bad things about Maestra. When I started seeing reviews from Littens with the book literally in the trash can I figured I'd stay away!! Lol! 8y

Hey, it's my favorite day, #recommendsday 😍. Today I'm going with the Deanna Madden series, starting with The Girl in 6E. These are graphic, but they're intense & enthralling. PS - I did these via Audible, & they were perfect for it. Give these a chance. They're a great #palatecleanser & a fast ride.

This book was really good. A little bit American Psycho, a little bit Dexter. It had everything - mystery, sex, romance, murder. I couldn't put it down. It definitely kept my interest and am going to buy the rest of the series. I recommend for anyone who isn't squeamish, especially with graphic sex and violence. It is a really fast and good read.

I was both disturbed and endeared to our MC Deanna. I'm not even sure how that's possible. And more Jeremy forever. A couple of twists were genuinely surprising and carried that "oh damn" element I love in suspense/ thriller reads. Graphically sexual and violent, but that's just part of what made this a visceral and unapologetic story that goes full out.

Started as a Pan, ends as a Pick, & I will read/listen to the next installment. I get that she's a webcam girl, but there was a LOT of yucky cybersex to begin with, & for too long (but NOT as bad as Maestra!). But redemption comes with not knowing exactly what to think of our main character: is she a hopeless psychopath, or a girl alone in the world, trying to heal from a terrible trauma? I like it enough to try to find out in the next one.
