Pete the Cat is awesome! I have fond memories of reading his books to/with my youngest when she was little. 😻

I had hoped that this audio would have had some music, or be set to a beat like the early Pete the Cat books, but no ☹️ #scarathlon #spookyghostclub

An easy 50 points for #teamhendrix for #scarathlon this morning! Love sharing books with my kiddo especially before I drop her off for the day at daycare.

I‘m going to start off by saying American Predator is hands down the most disturbing and scary book I have ever picked up. To know and think there are people out there that exist like Keyes is simply beyond terrifying. I actually couldn‘t wait for it to be over, that‘s how scary it is. Also, my little man helped me out with #teamharkness for #scarathlon2020. He loves Halloween books! 🎃

This F Picture book themed in the season of Halloween is a great read for fall. The students are involved and they are familiar with the season. I would love to have a “bucket“ or display of books for each season and add this to the collection. The students may choose this as an IR. The story displays five pumpkins completing a series of events that are both silly and relatable. Such a great Read! #ucflae3414f19

YesseniaN You can visit the author and illustrator on the link below, it also includes activities the students can participate in. http://www.petethecatbooks.com/meet-the-author-illustrator/
UDL principle: Provide multiple means of Representation through Optimize individual choice and autonomy (7.1)
An ESOL strategy would be to review the book with the student after giving the student some time to attempt to read and understand the text.

sbombasi I have yet to read Pete the cat series! This sounds like a wonderful idea to incorporate for different seasons that the book is themed to. Great website resource too! 5y
DrSpalding Pete the cat is an excellent addition to your classroom library. All of the books have a positive message that you can use to provide a positive and pleasurable reading experience in your primary classroom. Nice alignment to universal design principles. What is the English learner strategy number? 4y

This book is another halloween themed book that I read to the students at the CDC. The students really enjoyed the counting aspect of this book as well as the flow of the story.

Happy Halloween! We've been on Pete the Cat & the five little pumpkins, each night for bedtime with my 3 year old, and I'm kinda loving the toddler version of Halloween and scary reads 😁

This TL book is a great resource for young children. The book incorporates numbers, so it is a great book for children learning simple math as well. Also, as expected, with the Pete the Cat series, the illustrations are wonderful and very inviting for children. Attached are some great ideas to incorporate with the book. https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.pinterest.com/amp/explore/5-little-pumpkins/ #ucflae3414sp17

HayleeM I love all of the Pete the Cat books! They are so fun and engaging for students. Great way to encorporate other subjects such as math. I love all the songs that go with them too 7y
DrSpalding You will need engaging books around the holidays. 7y
